This is romantic set of 12 Schumann Dresden flower cups and saucers, with the 1900 era mark of Carl Schumann; the interior of each cup features a lovely courting scene and both cups and saucers have colorful floral and gilt decoration and raised diagonal weave borders. Condition: cups: ; saucers: 10 are in excellent condition with only minor gilt wear; 1 is cracked, and 1 has minor discoloration. Measurement: cups: ; saucers: 5 _" dia.

A rare porcelain tea bowl and saucer painted with the "bird on the branch" pattern in under glaze blue and decorated with over glaze iron red and gold in imitation of "Chinese Imari" style...

A superb and graceful example of First Period Dr. Wall Worcester porcelain. The patterns on it are "La Peche" and "La Promenade Chinoise," both of which were done by Robert Hancock. Although Caughley did a very similar variation, this piece was definitely made by Worcester.

The slightly flared tankard is 4 5/8" tall, with a top diameter of 3" and a base diameter of 3 1/4". Looking fresh from the factory, it has no chips, cracks, glaze or paint loss, or restorations...

A wonderful Bow porcelain factory tea bowl painted in the "Jumping Boy" pattern. Although this pattern is occasionally found on Chaffers porcelain, and is not common, it appears to occur even much less frequently on Bow porcelain pieces. The potting is extremely thin and light. The painting, done in shades of dark and lighter blues, is extremely well done, and features a seated Oriental woman holding a sprig of flowers...

An elegant and beautiful Derby porcelain figure of "Flora," from the "Antique Seasons" set. Flora (or Spring)stands on a tall plinth, is wearing a diadem of flowers, has gathered her robe in her left hand, and is offering a wreath with her right. The Antique Seasons set was made in 1771, and each has the model number "5" incised in the base. It is described in Peter Bradshaw's book "Derby Porcelain Figures 1750-1848" as being exceedingly rare...

A Victorian Majolica Plate Featuring an Early Bicycler Dressed in Red Trousers and a Blue Shirt with an Elaborate Color Border; circa 1890-1900. No mark on the back. A rare pair of Pearlware pottery figures depicting Venus and Neptune made in Staffordshire during either the late 18th or very early 19th Century. A similar pair of figures are illustrated in "The price Guide to 18th Century English Pottery" by Sally Mount, published by the Antique Collectors' Club (1972). Condition: there are some losses to the enamel colours; no cracks, no repairs and no restoration. 23.5cm (9.25 inches) high.

A beautiful and highly desirable Dr. Wall Worcester salt in the form of a scallop shell, the interior painted with an agitated bird amidst foliage with red berries, the rim shaded with pink, and the whole supported on a raised trefoil base applied with a variety of shells, seaweed, and coral in vibrant colors...

Hexagonal box nicely decorated along the borders of the box. The top of the box displays a fine representation of St. Peter's square in Vatican City crafted with Venetian mosaics. A black onyx border surrounds the portrait. The inner part of the lid contains the inscription of C ROCCHECCIANI ROMA. Circa 1900.

A large Doccia porcelain coffee pot c.1800 with enamel floral decoration.

Late 18th or early 19th century tall porcelain pear shaped coffee pot with a flat lid topped with a pointed knop. The form is typical of Doccia of this period though the hexagonal spout is unusual. On the underside is the incised letter, "P." Otherwise unmarked. This is a very fine Dr. Wall Worcester sparrow beak cream jug, dating from the 1765-1768 period. The pattern features brightly painted pomegranates in various stages of development. There is only one other example of this pattern recorded: a coffee cup that was theorized to have been made as a replacement for a Chinese teaset, and was offered in one of the Zorensky sales...

Imposing italian porcelain Capo di Monte coffer. Borders, clasp and hinges are made of bronze. Mark on the bottom. The Capo di Monte was established in the mid. 1700's by King Charles of Naples, this explaining the "N" mark above the crown. Circa 1900.

The group of small porcelain items known as "toys" is composed of scent bottles, bonbonnieres, etuis, and seals. These were produced from the early years of Chelsea through to the Chelsea-Derby period. (The most comprehensive work on these items is "The Chelsea Porcelain Toys", by G.E. Bryant, published in 1925.)

Seals were carried by members of the upper class and used to imprint a uniquely identifiable mark in the wax used to sign or secure documents or letters...

This is a fine Dresden porcelain four-part serving dish for hors d'oeuvres, each piece scallop-shaped with layered ribbing on a white ground, hand-painted with flowers and gilt, made by Helena Wolfsohn, ca. 1886-1891, makers mark and impressed numbers 2396 on underside; Measurement: each dish measures 5 3/4 L x 7 1/4 W. A small maiolica teapot and cover hand painted with rural scenes dominated by a tree in the foreground on either side. On the sides with the spout and the handle the decoration is the sky with birds. The predominant colors are green, yellow, blue and brown with some orange and a deep not very clear purple...

A fine Derby porcelain dish painted by Zachariah Boreman, marked on the reverse with a blue crowned "D" and pattern number 343. The kidney-shaped dish has a beautiful soft green wide border with a gilded edge. The white ground within the green border has elaborate drape and swag gilding on the outside edge, and gilded foliage surrounding the kidney shaped cartouche in the center. The cartouche has a scene identified on the reverse as Solfatara, Italy...

A Wedgwood stoneware deep blue "Jasperware" milk jug decorated in traditional neo-classical style and made in England between the years 1891 and 1908. Condition - very good - no damages and no repairs. 12cm (4.6 inches) high. Capacity: 1 pint (568 Millilitres).

Panelled and diaper molded border picked out in blue and green, handpainted and signed "P. Vissier", and dated 1769. The plate has two labels, one from the Newman collection, and the other from the Harriet Carlton Goldweitz collection, considered one of the finest English pottery collections of the last 25 years. 9 5/8 inches in diameter, superb condition with deep, vibrant color, and no chips, cracks, or restoration.

A pair of dry drug jars decorated with blue leaves top and bottom and the drug name in the middle, all over a light grayish blue glaze. This form is typical of the 18th century Italian drug jars. The hand throwing on a wheel is evident on the glazed interior of both jars. 7 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches diameter, (18.5 cm tall, 12 cm diameter).

Condition; Both have chips on the base and roughness from throwing on the mouth. Both have later marking on the base with a magic marker.
