Very unusual glass paperweight from the New England Glass Company. The weight is worked in a patriotic theme with shards of red, white and blue opaque glass rods making up the scrambled design--possibly in celebration of America's centennial in 1876. The center of the setup is punctuated with a large icepick bubble--a technique I have never seen used in an American scrambled weight. There is also a rare silhouette cane of a pine tree. The crown is high and has a lightly swirled finish...

A scarce Heisey EAPG Winged Scroll pattern custard glass American pressed or pattern glass pitcher issued by Heisey from 1899-1901. It is 9-1/2" tall in the un-decorated (no gold trim) custard colour, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. Fabulous and rare Pairpoint silver palate olive caster with original tongs. The satin glass insert is most likely Mount Washington and features a lovely hand painted floral design on all sides. All in excellent condition, it measures about 11 inches tall. (Glass insert is 4.5" high)

A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich amethyst shade. The vase is entirely hand blown, shows the traces of hand marvering, and has a large oblong bubble on one side about two inches above the bottom. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tuplip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors...

Exquisite cut glass flower centre bowl in the Glenwood pattern by J. D. Burgen, 1899. This bowl was made in three sizes, and this 12 inch one is the largest of the three. It is in perfect original condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. It is referenced and pictured in the Encyclopedia of American Cut and Engraved Glass by Michael Pearson, Volume 1, page 58.

A Mt. Washington scalloped rim bowl decorated with orchids. The 3 3/4 inch diameter, 2 3/4 inch tall satin finish bowl has subtle diagonal ribs and a polished pontil mark. The color shades from pale lavender on the flared rim to colorless at the bottom. The coloration appears similar to the bowl shown in plate 10-17 on page 243 in Wilson’s “Mt Washington & Pairpoint Glass” and the decoration matches that on the sugar shaker in plate 10-18 of the same book.

A Dorflinger decanter with a blown stopper and label circa 1900. This 12-3/8" tall wine decanter (including stopper) is simple and undecorated and made by Dorflinger Glass Co. (1862-1921). This decanter measures 6" across the body, and this decanter retains its original (slightly worn) Dorflinger small sticker or label on the bottom...

Save 15% today... This fabulous find is a delicate blown lead crystal cruet with a large bubble Stopper. Both the body and the stopper share the broad leaves and vines cut and etched motif. It is numbered on the bottom, 43. I don't know if someone etched this number on later or if it was part of numbering system from its maker... who knows. The handle is over-sized, applied and cut to easily manipulate this dear cruet. It is 6" high to the top of the etched stopper.

A fine glass cocktail shaker by Hawkes. The glass blank is blown in an optic paneled style and highlighted with gilding at the neck. The body is beautifully enameled with a colorful rooster and the reverse side is engraved with the recipe for a "Bronx" cocktail. The stopper is finished with floral intaglio engraving. The The double-lip form of the shaker is very similar to the shape Hawkes used for oil & vinegar cruets...

A beautiful, hand-painted creamer and sugar set in ornate Wilcox quadruple-plated silver holders. Both pieces of glass are decorated with flowers, butterflies, etc. The metallic holders have superb wrap-around decor. The creamer is 5 1/4 inches wide and 4 3/8 inches high, while the sugar container is 4 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high. Except for a rim-chip in the sugar container (see last picture - hidden with lid in place), the pieces are in good condition. Polished pontils...

Handsome hexagonal faceted glass paperweight featuring a detailed frost intaglio of a lion pressed into the base. The New England Glass Company made several different types of intaglio paperweights, and this piece is possibly an example of the company's work.

This set of 11 flint glass cordial glasses was produced around 1830.  It was probably made at the Sandwich glass factory or some other renowned New England glass company.  They measure 3 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 1 3/4 inches.  These glasses are hand blown with a rough pontil on the foot.  They are cut with a panel pattern...

Offered is this rare hand-painted 'Collars and Cuffs' lamp, made by Wavecrest around 1890. Overall, the lamp is 22 1/4 inches tall. The bottom glass part is 7 3/4 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches tall. The top glass shade is 9 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches tall. The chimney is 11 3/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. The lamp is in very good condition and the electrical wiring is in good condition (there is some age-appropriate tarnishing to the metal parts)...

Wonderful blue Cluthra M-handled vase standing 10 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter at its widest point. The vase is shape 8508 and is entirely mixed blue and white from top to bottom. It does not shade to white at the bottom. The bubbles in the Cluthra are small (1/4 inch diameter or less) and are well distributed. There is no damage to this unsigned vase.

A fine mid-19th century pressed glass paperweight in the form of a recumbent lion resting on an opaque glass base. The lion is beautifully detailed and finished in a frosted surface. This lion is similar to one produced by Gillinder for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but it is much more finely made. The underside of the black base is impressed “490”.

This satin glass basket was produced in the United States in the late 19th century. The exact manufacturer is unknown. It was probably made by a New England glass company. It is 10 1/2 inches high and 7 3/4 inches in width. It is made of cased satin glass, white on the outside and striped with shades of rose coloring inside. A beautiful, iridescent, Favrile glass bowl and underplate, made by Tiffany Studios around 1910. Both pieces are signed and are in fine condition. The plate is 6 3/4 inches wide while the bowl is 4 inches wide at the top.

A unusually fine example of a scrambled weight by the New England Glass Company. The weight includes latticinio twists and millefiore canes. The set-up includes a complex red, white and blue cane (visible through the concave bottom of the weight) formed of a heart silhouette surrounded by stars. The canes are tightly packed for a very nice appearance. The glass is quite clear.
