English or Irish wine glass or rummer, Georgian, c 1830. The cup and stem are slice cut, the knop diamond cut or faceted and the foot star cut. Height "4 ½ / 11.3 cm. Condition: fine.

A beautiful set of three emerald green roemers with cup bowls, applied prunts of the stem, and folded feet and polished pontils. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, or restoration. The height of each is 4 7/16", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/2" and a foot diameter of 3".

A pair of heavy Bristol wine glasses, peacock blue. Mouth blown and made around 1800 – 1810, the rim softly rounded. The pontil mark of one glass removed by grinding. Removal of the pontil mark was often done on lead “finer” glass (the lead allowed for cut designs). On the other glass the mark is deeper and so is still there, despite grinding. Height "4 ½ / 11.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A Georgian bucket bowl wine glass with panel-cut cup and stem, English, c 1800. Polished pontil. Height: "4½/ 11 cm. Condition: a minimal nick to the base as shown in photo.

A heavy Bristol green rummer, the stem with a nice grip, and a wine glass. Mouth blown and made around 1810, the rims softly rounded. The pontil mark of the wine glass removed by grinding, while it is still left on the rummer. Some little air bubbles, the rim of the wine glass with a mark from the tongs used to cut the bowl loose from the pontil. Height "5 ½ / 14 cm and "4 / 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine, except for a minimal scratch mark to the bowl of the rummer.

Two Milchglas or Lattimo mugs made in Bohemia or South Germany c 1800. Both are gifts of friendship: one with Zum Andenken (Souvenir), the other Aus Achtung (Out of Respect), the dedications surrounded by wreaths of roses and other flowers. A lovely antique crystal plaque by Baccarat encasing a sulphide or "cameo incrustation" of the "Madonna and Child". This particular sulphide is one of the two known depictions of Mary and Jesus used by Baccarat during the classic period of paperweight production. It is a large version and shows Mary supported by a swirling cloud of angels. The back of the plaque is cut in a waffle pattern and the edges are finished in with curved gadroons...

This crystal beaker or cup with silver lid was produced in Eastern Europe in 1810. There is a date engraved on the glass. We do not know who the maker was. It is 5 1/2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 1/4 inches. The beaker is hand blown and cut from fine crystal. Rarely do you find a pair of early 1800's Anglo Irish cut crystal decanters complete with their original stoppers. They are in excellent condition for their age with just a few small chips. The most notable is a chip on one of the bases that you can see when turning the decanter upside down. The decanters are stable, don't wobble, no hairlines, and no cracks. Measure about 9.75 inches high, diameter about 3.75". Dates Circa 1800-1850.
