French Chippindale style Black Tole Tray with Enamel hand painted red and gold design of floral branches and vines, Ca. late 1800's, 14 1/2" x 11 1/2" wide, 5/8" high, the condition is like used 19th century wear and tear, no major damages.

The case is hallmarked and according to my reading this item was manufactured by Whiting Manufacturing Company, New York, New York 1866-1926 a major manufacturer of full line of quality flatware and hallo ware that was absorbed into Gorham in 1926...

An antique German silver mesh purse with pierced frame showing deers and roses. The frame marked with the crescent moon and crown, "800" and a maker's mark. A Victorian Naturalism sterling silver christening mug. Hand engraved and fully hallmarked for London, England 1882, this 3-3/4" mug features a leaf and floral design on both sides (both slightly different). It has an unidentified maker's mark and a 353/0 pattern number on the bottom. It retains traces of the original internal gilding and it weighs 155 grams. It has a fancy monogram of GETC. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Unusual pretty little coin silver basket embossed on front and sides with flowers and is finished off with a gold rope tie. The top is ruffled or fluted with a rolled edge. Inside has a gold wash and is hallmarked "900 A K".

This napkin ring is a well-formed rooster standing on a tiered, oval vase. The napkin holder has bright cut engraving. Circa 1870. This is made by the Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co #11.

Circa 1890 German Silver smaller bowl. All hand-pierced and repousse. The bowl measures 5.5" in diameter and 3" tall. It is stamped on the bottom "Brahmfeld & Gutrue" and "800" and a crown mark. The overall weight is 258.3 grams.

A very attractive box-lock with large engraved plate, Austrian or South-German, 18th. century.

A rare pair of very early and beautiful baroque Pewter candlesticks, pricket type, probably germany or England, 17th. century.

The prickets was made in iron and the pair is stamped with clear touchmarks of the crowned Tudor rose and another with angel.

Size 31-32 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice very fine and intact...

Elegant sterling silver footed basket with flaring, reticulated sides and a hoop handle. The swirling pattern of the piercing echoes the basket's scalloped rim. The top of the handle has a reserve for a monogram, but was never monogramed. The bottom has Durgin's early hallmark and the retailer's mark "Hodson, Kennard & Co." Many of Durgin's earlier products were sold through such upscale Boston retailers.

Origin: America, circa 1890. Condition: excellent, no dings...

Set of 6 turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau sterling silver demitasse spoons. Made by R. Wallace & Sons. Mfg Co. (later Wallace Silversmiths) in Wallingford, Connecticut. Each: Handle has dense and dynamic ornament including scrolls, tendrils, and beading with fan terminal. Back plain. Oval bowl with double-sided gilding. Fully marked. Excellent condition with deep patina.

Silver stuffing spoon, 12 1/8" in length, the bowl 1 7/8" wide at the widest point, weight close to four ounces on a common postal scale, bearing the marks on the reverse of the noted mid eighteenth century London craftsman JOHN LAMPFERT, who was known to be working in silver from at least 1749. I am an art dealer, so, not experienced with silver. There are a number of stamps in the handle...

Classical coin silver christening mug. Made by Tifft & Whiting in North Attleboro, Mass., ca 1850. Straight and tapering sides with beaded rims. Three names and 3 birthyears (1851, 1877, and 1908) engraved in leafing scrolled frame. Leaf-capped s-scroll handle. Maker’s stamp and phrase “Pure Silver Coin”. Good condition with attractive period wear and nicely sunk engraving.

A Gorham Art Nouveau sterling silver swing-handle basket circa 1900. This lovely American basket measures 6-3/8" x 4-7/8" across the basket and it stands 7-1/2" to the top of the handle. It has a sinuous Art Nouveau floral design and it is stamped STERLING GORHAM MFG CO 1984/6 on the bottom. It weighs 181 grams (5.8 ounces) and it in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small split on one of the cutouts (see image)...

An elegant antique hand chased sterling silver pen tray, having a rectangular body with rounded ends, a fluted border. and a vacant central oval cartouche. Made in London it is hallmarked and dates 1896. This fine tray measures 7.5 inches long.

Georg Roth & Co. hallmarked German sterling silver dish. Small four-footed dish with motifs of cherubs, scrolls, and leaves. Marked underneath "Sterling" and "Germany". Also marked with an "A" under a crown, a Hanau pseudo-mark linked to Georg Roth & Co. MEASUREMENTS: 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" high. Approximately 4.87 troy ounces total. Circa 1880 French bronze champleve enamel inkwell with delicately hand-painted bird scenes. It sits on 4 bun feet and is in excellent condition. All enameling is intact with the darkest red color being a beautiful clear wine red (which tends to look a darker/duller in our photos). This lovely inkwell measures 7 inches across and 3" high.

A Green Ivory Handled Georgian Silver Fruit Fork (6.25") and Knife (6.5"). Hallmarked Sheffield, 1823. No makers mark. In by case Robert Rait, 261 Broadway; 1833-1866. Dimensions; Fork, 6.25:, Knife, 6.5". Very good condition, nominal wear on knife blade.

Lovely round tray with raised grapes surrounding the edges and on the handles. It has a 15" diameter and is in excellent condition. It is marked on the bottom with hallmarks, the name Crescent, and the number 1097.

A very nice European Silver Cosmetic Box with perfectly fitting lid (gilded/vermeil inside). Base and cover have 800 stamp and hallmark. Condition: good and nice weight. Top has raised/stylized initials VB. Size: H. 9 cm. x 8.5 cm. top diameter x 7.5 cm. bottom diameter.

Here’s to a good round of golf and a fine cigar...case! This antique sterling silver cigar holder tube will keep that smoke fresh and secure, having an engine-turned design and slide off cap. Stamped 925 and Makers Mark and Anchor on tube and inside cap. Measures 7 1/4" long. Very good condition with minor depressions near tip. Wt. 67.7g. A class act on the course or with friends.

Lovely set of 12 sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks by Davis & Galt. The handles are heavily decorated with an unusual repousse paisley pattern. The workmanship is very nice. The backs are hallmarked by the maker and have the retailer’s mark for Bailey, Banks & Biddle.

A very early and seldomly encountered brass bucket with handle and openwork iron lid for storing fresh fish, Germany, early 18th. century.

The fine bucket with an iron openwork lid that can be opened in both sides. Typical wear and soldering during the time of use, othervise intact and attractive.
