JB is presumably James Bogert, who made many pieces for Ball, Tompkins and Black, as well as its predecessor Marquand. The Tea Set dates from 1839-1851, the date of the partnership. The name "I. Moss"? is engraved on each piece, but rubbed. The teapot is 11" high, the covered sugar, 9" and the creamer 8". Total weight is 78.1 standard, 71.4 Troy ounces...

A simple 7" pre-Victorian English pewter sauce ladle by John Yates, Birmingham. Yates (1788-1881) produced spoons and ladles from c1808 to c1840, and this example has his early IO HN YHA TES stamp. It is in the fiddle pattern and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, monograms, losses, damage or repairs other than a small bubbled area of corrosion on the handle...

An American Federal Period Coin Silver Creamer or Milk Jug by John McMullin (1765-1843) of Philadelphia. Monogrammed on one side "PJG" with "BB" over it and "MB" under it and the dates 1790 and 1850. On the other side "NRG" and the date 1923. Presumably this was a family piece used over generations. Possibly given originally as a birth present. An ornate, finely decorated rectangular galley drinks tray c1910. This 11-1/8 x 8" tray has a pierced gallery and it is of heavy and solid construction (it weighs 640 grams). It is silver plated on copper and it has the maker's mark for Charles Howard Collins of Birmingham, England (founded c1895)...

The frame on this ornate bride's basket was made by the Wilcox Silver Co. circa 1880's. The frame holds a beautiful robin's egg blue satin glass basket with touches of cranberry around the double ruffled edge. The frame has a twisted rope handle with an ornate decoration on the top. These baskets were traditional wedding gifts in the Victorian era. The bowl has no chips, cracks, or repairs and is 10" in diameter...
