A charming Sumakh flatweave Chanteh bag made of wool. With woven striped Kilim back. From an old Swiss collection. Condition: clean, few traces of usage, selvage wrapping partially lost. Dimension: c. 27.5 cm x 29.5 cm.
Beautiful antique Afshar chanteh, last quarter of the nineteenth century, complete with flat-woven back and tassels, all natural dyes including a beautiful green. This bag measures roughly 12" by 16".
A Central Anatolian prayer kilim in beautiful colors. Woven in slit tapestry, warp and weft in wool. Condition: Colors slightly faded, minor wear and few small repairs. Collectors piece, the weave is very fine and delicate, should not be exposed to heavy traffic. Dimensions: 202 x 118 cm without fringes.
Yellow Ningxia 'Throne-Seat Cover' (Peonies Design) 'Qing-Dynasty', West China, 19th century, wool/cotton,
approx. 60 x 58 cm
Rare complete single bag (small saddlebag or large chanteh) from the Luri-Bakhtiyari tribes of West Persia, last quarter of the 19th Century. This rare weaving measures 19.5" by 17" and is in nearly mint condition, with full pile and complete piled closure system, tassels and original side finishes. All dyes are natural, including a great purple and apricot. Nice flatweave back with patterning in weft wrap technique typical of Luri/Bakhtiyari work.
Terrific chair mat or small round rug hooked in a pattern of two white cats with large blue eyes and big red bows against a field of blue-grey surrounded by a burgundy and black double border. Hooked on a burlap foundation with wool and cotton. Very good condition, except for some discoloration and wear to the black border. 15" diameter. American, probably New England, 19th century.

his is a doll quilt with knotted and tied quilting with cotton filling. It is a warm brown and tan color. It has a stain on the under side that looks like rust. It has no rips or tears. It is 15" by 17" and is circa 1890-1900.

These lovely linen travel rolls were made and sold in Maine and NH by the Shakers. They are made with natural linen and have red trim. During the winters the sisters embroidered them . I have owned a few of them and they are all different but great. This is a travel roll-up and so pretty to look at. It is 22" by 12". It does have a hole on the front, see pictures. Circal 1890
This are small red boiled wool mittens, hand sewn and 3" long. They are from the 1890-1910. In very good condition and amazing they are still together.
