A fabulous two section Japanese Sado Island Isho Tansu made of burl Keyaki wood with Sugi frame and Kiri wood interior dating from the Meiji period (c.1900), with beautiful forged iron fittings on a lacquer finish, all original and in top condition, 3 keys. Size: L 45.5" x H 45" x D 17"

"Era of Men's Finery", a small domed trunk-shaped leather box holding four double cased glass bottles. Each bottle with original gold plated corked cap, silver plate screw top and glass perfume stopper. Leather trunk with wonderful aged patina and nice graining, dome lined inside with brown silk, base with white leather, Circa 1910; Size: 4 3/4" wide x 2" deep x 3" tall. Original vintage condition with character, leather closure re-attached, minor marks, minor wear to plate.

Heavily carved mahogany settee and chair with full winged griffons on arms, paw feet, and carved, reticulated tops. Probably by either Horner or Karpin. Settee measures 48" tall x 63" wide x 36" deep and chair measures 40" tall x 32" wide x 34" deep. One of the most beautifully carved pieces we've ever had the pleasure to offer for sale.

Fabulous, huge, Rosewood American Victorian Renaissance Revival etagere. Embellished with marquetry musical instruments and flowers, this beautiful piece is in all original condition, has been in the same family since it was bought in the 1870s. It measures 10'2" tall x 7'3" wide x 24" deep.

Fabulous leaded glass shade by John Morgan and Sons of New York. This beautiful piece of craftsmanship has a mottled green background with pink, orange, red and yellow flowers. When lit, the colors are absolutely phenomenal. The shade, which measures 23" in diameter, proudly sits upon a beautiful Handel base. The whole lamp measures 24" tall and would stand out in any room. It is in excellent condition.

Extremely Rare George III Tea Caddy in the shape of an urn-form knife box, in partridge wood with satnwood stringing, octagonal with pagoda shaped lid and acorn-form finial, urn-form body and turned socle with square plinth base having inlaid banding (lock replaced). Circa 1910-1920 British Hunting Silk Hat with Leather Box and Original Bottle of Cleaner and its mailing box. Custom leather box, lined with burgundy velvet, measures 13' by 12" by 8" with brass fittings and original key. Locking device works and all straps and closures intact. Some superficial nicks to the leather and roughness to leather around handle. Some neatsfoot oil would cover in these nicks. The silk top hat, made for the hunts, is black with inside diameter of 7.5 and 6.5"...

Beautiful Victorian two-weight wall clock of burled walnut trimmed in black. Has second hand, and chimes on hour and half hour. This lovely clock measures 17 1/2" wide x 53" tall and is in perfect working condition.

From our European Collection, a very fine Federal Giltwood Pier Mirror, early 19th century circa 1800-1820, featuring a looking glass surmounted by a good maritime scene, bordered on top by a pair of angels exquisitely rendered in gilded gesso suspended beneath an overhanging cornice, and flanked by gilded ribboned columns on the sides.

This particular mirror is an excellent example of its kind, and is especially well-preserved...

From our European Collection, a good 19th century hand-carved hall chair with an armorial / heraldic shield, probably Spanish in origin. The wood used is a dense and heavy hardwood which appears to be either walnut or mahogany. The chair is armless and rests upon wooden casters.

This attractively proportioned games table is a form famously produced in the Salem, Massachusetts area at the beginning of the 19th Century. The serpentine form with ovolo corners, coupled with richly carved foliate and reeded legs, is a motif used by those cabinetmakers and carvers associated with the successful workshop of Samuel Field McIntire (1757-1811). Beautiful ladies chair in a variation of the Rosalie pattern by Belter. Henry Belter became fameous for taking layers of wood, mostly rosewood, and laminating them so that they could bend and form a wonderful shape that showed off the wood so beautifully. This chair is typical of his work, and was made between 1850 and 1860. It measures 39" tall x 24" wide x 29" deep and will make a wonderful addition to any room

Solid split pedestal mahogany dining table made by Brown and Simpson of Boston in 1909. It measures 54 inches round by 29" tall when closed. There are six leaves, two with aprons. When opened with the two leaves that have aprons, it becomes an oval measuring 6' 3" inches long and looks like one large table as the center pedestal stays closed and the aprons make it look like there are no leaves...

The best Victorian bed we've ever had or seen, this half tester American bed, circa 1860, is absolutely beautiful. It measures 10 feet tall, 83 inches long and 68 inches wide. It takes a queen size mattress. Its in all original condition with the exception of the top having been recovered. Probably made in New York by Prudent Mallard.

This screen is carved from top to bottom in every possible place. It has faces, flowers, lion feet, berries and more. The red panels in the back can be easily changed, so it can be made to go with any decor. The two outside panels are each 22" wide x 65" tall, and the center panel is 20" wide x 65". Not only is this a beautiful screen, but it would make a wonderful one of a kind headboard also. It is in great original condition.

Beautifully detailed spelter lamp of a school boy dressed in knickers and a cape, holding his book under his arm. The whole lamp stands 41" tall with an 8" diameter on the base. The figure of the boy, without the base or the font, stands 20 1/2" tall. There is a small chip on the top rim of the shade, but everything else is in perfect condition. This is one of the nicest lamps of its kind that I've had.

Lovely walnut marble top Victorian table, circa 1880, measuring 29" tall x 35" wide x 25" deep. Having a white marble top, this table is in excellent original condition.

Lovely American Eastlake walnut parlor table, made in the 1880s. It has a white marble top, and an great base with a gallery around it. It measures 30" tall x 31" wide x 23" deep and is in excellent original condition.

This is a lovely revolving bookcase, circa 1910. It is mahogany, with a shell style inlay on the top. There are two shelves on each of the four sides. The bookcase itself measures 31" high x 19" deep.

This is one of the nicest pair of stacking bookcases that we've had, mainly because you can fit large size books in them. Each one is four stacks high, but they are much higher than the usual stackers, and the bottom two are also a lot deeper. Each of the top two sections measures 13" tall x 34" wide x 11" deep. Each of the bottom two sections measures 16" tall x 34" wide x 14" deep. The total of each bookcase is 70" tall x 34" wide. They have been refinished and are in excellent condition...

Lovely Renaissance Revival hall stand, circa 1880. It is walnut and all the decoration is burl. It will hold up to ten hats or coats, and has the original iron pans on the bottom. It measures 91" tall x 43" wide x 16" deep and is in beautiful condition.

Lovely white marble turtle top table with rosewood base circa 1880 in excellent condition. It has a lovely base with a large finial in the center. It measures 29" tallx 36" wide x 26" deep.

Beautiful solid mahogany partner's desk made by New York cabinet maker R. J. Horner circa 1900. The desk measures 30" tall x 53" wide x 33" deep. It is supported by four exquisite winged griffins who seem to be guarding whomever sits at it. There are two long drawers at the top, one opening at each side. This wonderful desk is in excellent condition and would definitely be the focal point of any room it sits in.
