Original urushi warm transparent lacquer finish with hand forged iron hardware and copper side carrying handles. Unique ring pull faux drawer front that doubles as a lift-out door hiding two small drawers.

From our European Collection, a very fine 19th century carved oak choir bench from Oxford. This piece is very well worked, with two finely executed ecclesiastical-themed carved panels backing each of the two seating compartments. The phrase "Fight The Good Fight" is carved on the uppermost cross panel.

Size and Condition: 64 inches wide,53 inches tall, 20 inches deep. This piece is very sturdy and sound. It does show its age however with various areas of rubbing and scuffing to the wood...
