From our European Collection, a very elegant late 19th / early 20th century bronze lamp, probably French or English, featuring a well-cast swan atop a lumbering turtle. This is the second of two fine lamps we recently acquired from the estate of a former New York based antique dealer. Please note the close-ups of the swan and the turtle: these are both quite finely executed.

DESCRIPTION: A charming pair of French Provincial armchairs, each crafted from solid, carved cherry wood and each having rush seats with red accent stripes, early 20th C. Carved turned arms attach to an arched ladderback over the red striped seats on turned tapered legs with toupie feet, joined by stretchers. Very good condition. Fine old Shan Burmese lacquer box, circa early 20th century with one tray and depicting monkeys playing in foliate background. This piece is a real classic beauty (IMHO). There are a couple of repairs at the edge of the rim noted in enlargements as well as craclature on the surface and nicks around the foot. H: 19.2cm/7.6in and D: 22cm/8in.

DESCRIPTION: An antique French wine pitcher crafted like a barrel from staves of wood bound by five hand wrought iron hoops. The top hoop forms the neck and spout, the handle is iron wrapped wood. Originating from the Alsace region in eastern France, this pitcher is a wonderful compliment to any French, country or farmhouse décor. DIMENSIONS; 15" high x 12 1/4" diameter.

Well made old storage basket, circa 1950s, acquired in Lombok, Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia in the 1980s this has been in storage since then. This has a slight trapezoidal shape to the lid and body. Excellent condition- no damage. Top- W: 24cm/9.5in x 21.5cm/8.4in and H: 9.5cm/3.8in.

From our European Collection, a good late 19th / early 20th century cast iron mirror, probably English. A charming but unpretentious piece that can complement many different styles of decor.

Size and Condition: 28 1/4 inches tall, 16 inches wide. Excellent condition, no repairs or restoration and the glass appears to be original: Some general wear to the ironwork commensurate with age as seen in the second close-up, but this only adds to the charm.

Arts and Crafts oak lamp table by L & JG Stickley. Circa 1912. Original dark brown finish and bearing a decal under the top that reads "Work of L & JG Stickley." The table has four square legs with crossed stretchers and a lower square shelf; the top is square with canted corners. Size: 30 inches x 30 inches x 29 inches ht. Good antique condition.

With its original powder puff made with either cygnet (baby swan) or gosling (baby goose) down, this American brilliant cut glass dresser box measures 5" diameter, 3" high. The lid is sterling silver and does has some dents around the edges. The cut glass is perfect.

The inside has upper and lower shelving and two large drawers side by side...
