This extremely rare and stunning museum quality Olmec standing figure is made from beautiful Olmec blue true jadeite. It measures a whopping 8 3/8" long and 2 1/2" at the shoulders. The head is just shy of 3". It dates from 1200-600BC. It is the definition of Olmec classic with the elongated head and were-jaquar mouth. It has incising along the chest, left leg and left cheek. The back is quite unusual and rare in that the head shows the figure in transformation into an avian form...
Pre Columbian Dark Green Jade Celt Likely Myan , very fine stone that sadly does not photograph well its has a nice speckling the piece is well shaped and the end shows sighs of heavy use, the blade has a chip that was reworked in ancient times.
Size 1.75" by.75". This would work well as a pendant with a gold cap at the end.

Chavin C1200BC-200BC Steatite and Stone Necklace , some beads are plain and some have the classic Chavin circle and dot patters while others have swirl patterns . One large copper bead and a giant stone spindle whorl type bead. The necklace is strung on adjustable leather cord and is stable and wearable.Length of beads 19" not counting large pendant.
