A rare antique, first half of the 18th century, American Indian trade halberd or halberd tomahawk head, formed of hand-forged iron and adorned with brass panels.

During the first half of the 18th century, many Indian dignitaries carried the heads of this style on a short haft, like tomahawks.

There were numerous variations in the design of this halberd...

Pre-Columbian, Peru, Chancay, ca. 800 to 1200 AD.

A white-slipped terracotta bowl with a rounded base, curved walls, a deep interior cavity, and a thin rim.

It features a nice geomethric decoration in a rich brown hue.

Size: 12,5 cm. in diameter and ca. 7-8 cm. tall.

Condition: Nice and intact, small pinhole in the wall and a blemmage in the bottom, perhaps oil or residue from former mounting?

A rare antique Pre-Columbian Jama-Coaque 300 B.C. - 400 A.D. ceramic amulet in the form of a standing nude male figure with an erect phallus. These types of amulets were associated with the male sex's power and fertility. The object has a hole at the temple for suspension.

CONDITION: It is in good condition, showing its age and wear. No repairs or restorations.

Pre-Columbian, Mayan, Early Classic, circa 250-450 AD large terracotta bowl on flaring foot. The polychrome exterior is painted in grey, cream, dark and pale orange with geometric design.
CONDITION: repaired crack on the side, nice showing the age and usage patina.

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta face fragment with large nose. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This face has wonderful detail with the hair and eyes, as well as a large nose . Great little display piece. Size 2.5" by 2"

Overstreet states the Agee points are "the finest, most exquisite arrow point made in the United States". They are both 1 7/8". They are both made from translucent novaculite. They were found near the area of the Crenshaw Site. The name of the finder goes to the purchaser. I purchased both on 8-2-92 from Ray Stanford. Agee points of this quality are never seen on the open market. They are extremely rare and hoarded.

A Mexican folkart parade body mask costume depicting a ferocious male tiger with a wide open mouth. Carved from one solid tree trunk of a soft wood. Teeth are made using wild boar tusk and the tongue is a painted leather. The tail is removable.

A massive and elaborate seal of the rare roller seal group, probably for decorating bread, Pre-Columbian Carchi culture, Ecuador. 500 BC-500 AD.

A very beautiful and impressive seal decorated with geomethric patterns in solid grey stoneware. The seal born with protruding handles, to make it easier to use.

This incredible Olmec standing figure is 5 1/4 inches high (13.5cm) and 2 inches wide (5cm). It is made from beautiful opaque Olmec blue jade. The right arm was broken off in ancient times. The figure is represented in the back as transforming into a bird, with the back of the head, ears, and upper strap muscles of the figure's back forming the image of the head, eyes, and beak. These extremely rare beaded chaps are maker marked H H Heiser out of Denver, Colorado. Coming to Colorado during the Gold Rush of 1858-59, German immigrant Herman H. Heiser ultimately became one of the West's best known saddle makers. The chaps are made from brain-tanned deer hide and are beaded in what appears to be a Cheyenne pattern. This rare Archaic E-Notch point, made from translucent gray glossy flintridge, is in perfect condition. It has heavy grinding on the base and in the bottom portion of the notches. This is a classic example of the type and is beautifully beveled. It was found near Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio. Comes with a Gregory Perino certificate of authenticity and shows very nice mineralization and patination.

This is an extremely rare, unique IMPORTANT Olmec quartz engraved plaque. I have only seen a handful of authentic Olmec quartz pieces in my 40 years of collecting. Pin-shaped bronze coca spoons (also called lime spoon), was used to measure lime powder in order to enhance the hallucinogenic properties of other drugs.

They are costum mounted to a large plexi block and it seems to be a nice way to display them.
