This is a Mezcala reclining figure made from a hard stone. This is a rare pose. It dates to 500C. It is 3" tall. It is from Guerrero, Mexico. I purchased it from Michael Robbins in 1989.

Antique, circa 1900 A.D. Native American Indians. finely beaded belt pouch, I made of trade silk fabric embroidered with glass trade seed beads. The back is fitted with a belt loop.

MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 14.3 cm (5.6 inches). Height: 9 cm (3.5 inches).

CONDITION: Shows the age and use, loss of beads, minor wear normal for age. Please note that this is an authentic antique, over the 100-year-old pouch, which was well used, so a perfect condition cannot be expected.

This beautiful Eden point was found in Oregon. It is made from multi-colored petrified bog wood. It has short flutes on both sides. It has a medium ridge on both faces and a ground base. Parallel flaking. It is 2 3/4" long. There is no damage on this point at all. Very fine flaking and an early point. G-10. Purchased from Richard E. Bachman. A silver Fred Harvey open-top creamer. Early-mid twentieth century. Engraving on bottom reads, "International Silver Co.; Silver Soldered; Fred Harvey; 09; 4 oz; 61[boxed in]". Exterior in excellent-mint condition, mild corrosion on the interior bottom. 3 1/4" tall; 2" diameter.

This beautiful translucent honey quartz gorget is 3" wide by 2 1/2" long. It is from the famous late Jim D. Humphrey's collection of NE Tennessee. It was found in the early 1970's on the Holliston Mills site, Hawkins County, TN. It has lots of mineralization and fine patina. This is an archaic piece dating to C1500BC. A well-modeled figure measuring 8 inches in height. The figure is shown kneeling, with a cape or cloak draped over the left arm, the right hand resting on a knee. A twisted turban sits on the figures head, and prominent "ear-flares" are present. Intact, with losses and abrasions to the surface.

This is a very nice group of petrified wood points. The longest is 2 3/4". All are "early man" points except the 4th one. It is made from opalized wood and is a Samantha. Will consider selling separately.

A larger and very refined La Tolita head. He wears a giant nosering and a cap, in hard burnt stoneware.

This is a Mayan Jade sitting cross-legged pregnant woman. Depictions of women are rare. Pregnant women are even rarer. She is wearing a coiled snake headdress. Snakes are a powerful symbol among the Maya. In their primal form, snakes represent the surge of life force that brings all things on earth into manifestation. It is 3" tall. Excellent patina. No damage. It was found in Guatemala and dates to 250-600AD. I purchased it in 1991 from dealer Michael Robbins.

A rear and ancient Pre Colombian quartz and green jade necklace. The long quartz beads average length is from 75 to 85 cementers in length. In the light you can see the painstaking drilling of the holes in the quartz.Two animals carved in the gree jade. See photos Age is over 2,000 years old. Length is 43 cm. Condition: one long quartz bead is broken otherwise in good condition.

A seated figure of an emaciated male holding a tube above a small pot. The upper tip of the tube (or staff) is missing, an ancient loss. A minor chip to the end of the nose. Extensive deposits, as can be seen in the photos. The figure measures 9" in height. An expressive,authentic figure.

This Hell Gap point is made from beautiful agatized petrified wood. Found in northern Colorado. It is 2 1/8" long. The very end of the base has been snapped off in ancient times, but it does not detract.

This extraordinarily rare Olmec Quartz dagger or possible bloodletter was found together with the above jade dagger. It was made from a long quartz crystal of gem quality with no inclusions and ground to shape. This piece is 5 1/2" long. This Olmec artifact is of the finest workmanship and material. The effigy is in a classic Olmec pose. The artifact was in four pieces and glued back together perfectly under a microscope by Dennis Bushey.
