DECORATED POTTERY OIL LAMP
BYZANTINE, 6TH CENT. AD

Beautiful decorative patterns composed of lines, flat base bearing a large palm branch on the base, high curved handle and inscriptions on the sides related to magic...

This is a fine example of a plain bronze sword likely from Northwestern Iran, possible the Luristan culture. It dates to roughly 1000 BC. It measures an impressive 48 cm in length and weighs 356 grams. The only apparent damage is in what appears to be a broken tang. The break appears ancient as well. The rest of the sword is intact and stable. This is a good piece to add to your ancient weapon collection.

This is a nice little dagger from the collection of the late John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo's tag will stay with the item. It weighs 42 grams and measures nearly 17cm. It has three rivet perforations in the handle. It does not appear to have any repair and seems fairly solid. This is a good chance to own an inexpensive piece from the Piscopo collection.

This magnificent bronze figure is a representation of the god Osiris, a revered figure in Ancient Egyptian mythology. This figure dates back to the Late Period, between the 7th and 4th centuries B.C. The figure depicts Osiris in his mummified form, wearing an impressive Atef crown adorned with the Uraeus, a symbol of royalty and divine power. His braided beard, which curves at the tip, is a symbol of his wisdom and agelessness...

This is a remarkably well preserved black pottery vessel from the early Khmer culture. It dates to at least 600AD and is possibly much older. It is roughly 19 cm tall. It shows no signs of repair or restoration. There are traces of root fibers on parts of the surface and what looks like calcification on the surface of the base. This is a great opportunity to own a rare piece of Ancient Asia at a terrific price.

This is an awesome ancient Persian sword with a bronze handle and iron blade. The iron blade is still largely intact and stable. It is truly incredible for an iron blade to last the nearly 3000 years since its manufacture in circa 900 BC. This exceptional piece is 46.7 cm in length. You can see the rivets in the handle where it is attached to the blade. This is an excellent opportunity to add a truly unique sword to your collection.

This is a very well preserved bronze sword or dagger from ancient Luristan (circa 1000BC). Overall this piece is in great condition. The flanges on the handle that would have held the inlaid bone,wood or ivory grip are mostly intact (except for one) which is fairly unusual for this type of weapon. This piece measures 353mm and weighs 135 grams. It has a choice, olive patina and no signs of repair.

This is a collection of 10 bronze arrow points, 5 iron spear or lance points, and one Roman iron lance point excavated in Europe. The bronze points likely date to around 300 BC, give or take a few centuries. The iron points probably date to between 200 AD and 1200 AD. These are good examples to add to your collection. Feel free to make an offer on one point or on the entire set, or on any combination in between.

This is an exceptional bronze dagger or lance point from ancient Syria, possibly the Luristan culture. It measures 199mm and weighs 68 grams. It has a small tang, gently sloping blade edge, and thick midrib. It has a nice malachite patina and shows no signs of damage or repair.
