An interestion and rare bronze battleaxe, European, late bronzeage-early Ironage period, 1st. millenium BC.

A beautiful axe, long slender type with mounting hole to the back and a slightly curving blade.

Size: 13,5 cm. long

Condition: Superb, fine green patina with a dusting of earthern encrustations.

This axe comes from a find in Germany and was offcially exported with a license.

A huge bronzeage Torc, mid-European bronzeage, ca. 1200-800 BC.

An impressive piece of bronzeage jevellery, a warriors neck-ring, likely from Austria or Hungary. Desined with hook and eye and spiral decoration.

Size: 21,7 cm. in diameter and nearly round.

Condition: Choice and intact with wonderful vivid green and blue patina with a few lighter rough spots.

An Amlash bronze humped bull pendant, circa 1000-800 B.C.

A very attractive bronze bull, standing on it's stout legs and with a oversize hump and pieced through the body.

A splendid large steatite scarab from the New Kingdom, 16th. century BC- 11th. century BC.

The scarab is carved with a vase (?) flanked by a pair of hieroglyphs for the Cobra / Uraeus and further down the scarab beetle finely outlined in between hieroglyphs. The scarab is also finely carved on the back and with tiny details of body, head and legs. Note also the cylindrical finials for the horisontical drill.

This is a very well preserved bronze sword or dagger from ancient Luristan (circa 1000BC). Overall this piece is in great condition. The flanges on the handle that would have held the inlaid bone,wood or ivory grip are mostly intact (except for one) which is fairly unusual for this type of weapon. This piece measures 353mm and weighs 135 grams. It has a choice, olive patina and no signs of repair.

This is a 2nd Century Roman Glass, hand blown 2nd century AD. It is thick and heavy, unflawed, no chips or cracks, no hairlines,it has impressed squares on the body for about two third of the way down. Unguentaria used to hold poisonous, caustic oils or ointments and were never smooth sided, to prevent the Roman from grabbing the dangerous oil by mistake. This Romanian hide scraper is 2 13/16" long. The stone bit is original and still tight in place. The bit is the proper length for scraper control. This is stone age with a fossilized ivory handle with thumb rest in perfect condition This is a super rare find.
