A finely polished and fully symethric Egyptian stone jar made of a type of beautiful chlorite stone, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

The jar was used to hold cosmethics in the 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC. Nice marks of drill inside, recessed footring and a tiny rim also carved!

A finely incised Beetle scarab of a more naturalistic form with detailed engraving of the Beetle itself, New Kingdom, c. 1539–1075 BC.

Interesting engraving on the base with a large Ankh hieroglyphs that looks to have legs and is walking towards another elongated figural sign.

Size: 17-18 mm.

Condition: Very fine, intact with much wear to the glaze, attractive patina!
