These lamps are named after the site of Beit Natif in the southern part of the Judaea, where a workshop was found during excavations of two cisterns. They were imitated throughout the province. Mold-made factory lamp of Loeschcke type IXb. The sunken discus with a central filling hole, the elongated air-hole pierced along the nozzle channel. The base with a sunken central area.
The shape is known from North Italian makers like Strobilus, Atimeti and others.
Numerous variants of their products were also confectioned in Gaul and Germania, although it is not clear if by branch workshops of by plagiarisers.

A large & heavy Western Asian tanged bronze short Sword dating to 2000-1000 BC. 'Luristan' Turkmenistan / Uzbekistan bronze age.
The sword is massive, and heavy in hand. The tang is bend and the blade with rounded, raised shoulders and a flat central midrib. The edges are still sharp, with only slight roughness.
Size is 46,5 cm.

Ancient Near East, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BC. An elaborate bronze cloak pin, cast via the lost wax (cire perdue) process with a Zoomorphic beast terminal.
Used to fasten clothes, in this case due to the unusually heavy fabric and decoration, likely leather for presentation use - perhaps for a very thick cape or leather armor.

The rim is decorated with a facing Oceanus head showing bushy beards extending to both sides and goat-like ears. The lobster claws expected in the hair of Oceanus are mistakenly rendered as ram horns, the usual attribute for Zeus Ammon.
The Greeks believed Oceanus to be the titan of water, seas, lakes, rivers, oceans, streams and ponds.
In the late Roman imagery of North Africa the head of Oceanus presides over displays of sea life.

This is an ancient bronze short sword from Northwestern Iran. It has a choice, predominantly blue patina mottled with green and red. The lower half of the hilt is basically ovoid in hape with a lappet-flanged area on both broad surfaces. Flanged areas often held inlays of wood or bone but a lappet flange of this type was probably a decoration in and of itself. The upper half of the hilt is also ovoid but with the broad surfaces oriented perpendicular to the lower half.

This offering is a pair of bronze daggers from the ancient Ba culture. They date to the Warring States period (475-221 BC). The Ba people are thought to have inhabited the vast area which today encompasses southern Shaanxi, Hubei and eastern Sichuan provinces and Chongqing Municipality. Terracotta head of one of the Dioscuri wearing a pointed cap with bulged rim. Strands of wavy hair frame the face.
The head is almost entirely covered with a white slip. The details of the face such as eyes and mouth were rendered with additional colors.
