A late 18/19th Century QING DYNASTY ENAMEL BOX with ultramarine blue background and fine Polychrome Flower and Pomegranate decorations. The interior of box, including the lid and the base are in a light turquoise enamel. The top depicts 2 people in a landscape scene. Very good condition, no chips, damage or restorations. Wonderful pair of Chinese cloisonne elephants, each one sits on it's rear end with trunk high in the air, decorated all over with beautiful cloisonne motifs, these pieces are actually containers! The heads come off to reveal little domed lids, these also come off to reveal containers! Each elephant sits on a stand. Beautiful and charming! Early 20th century. Size of each: 13 3/4" high (12 1/2" high without stand) x 5" wide x 6" deep.

Antique Chinese large cloisonne censer. Standing on 3 legs, the round body of the censor has two large wing like handles, a tall neck, and is topped with a domed lid. 4 pierced characters around the lid allow for incense smoke and a seated fu-dog acts as a finial and lid handle. Everything but the fu-dog finial and parts of the side handles is covered with cloisonné enamel. The most dramatic portion of the design is the large fu-dogs amidst exuberant peony blossoms...

Set of four Canton enamel cups & saucers and one bowl. Finely painted with flower scrolls on yellow ground in "Famille rose" palette and little gold. Interior of the bowl and bottom of the saucers enamelled in pink. Condition: fine, unless minor hairlines and few tiny chips, one saucer's bottom with enamel loss. Dimension: bowl: diameter: c. 9 x 5.3 cm high, saucers diameter: c. 11.3 cm, cups: diameter: c. 6.8 x 5.1 cm high.

Antique, early 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty Canton enameled copper Famille rose box and cover. The top and two sides are finely hand-painted with colorful enamel against a white ground, depicting ladies and attendants at leisure on the garden terrace in rectangular panels. All surrounded by roses with leafy branches on a cobalt blue ground. The other two sides have the "Shou" emblem painted in brown enamel with gold borders.

A small enamelled copper box, the cover depicting a grasshopper or cricket amongst grasses and flowers. The base carries a "CHINA" stamp which dates it to post 1890. This item was probably made circa 1900, during the latter years of the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). A rare pair of Chinese cloisonne enamel 'holy water' bottles, Qianlong/Jiaqing, c. 1800. Height 23 cms. Iron-red decorated porcelain bottles of this shape were made in the Qianlong reign as gifts to Tibetan monks. In cloisonne, however, they are much rarer. The only pair to have come on the market in recent times were sold at Christie's New York, 18.9.2014, for USD 23,750. A single example was sold in Christie's Paris, 8.6.2010, lot 242.

Chinese 19th century gilt cloisonne box with wood lining; good condition

Spherical boxes in bronze (or copper) cloisonné in relief. The wires isolate the relief lotus flower decoration, leaving free spaces of enamel between the motifs which is an unusual, more complex technique. The fact of not completely filling the partitions with enamel weakens those which are at the edge of the decor. The wires must be welded and not simply glued before enameling, which is more difficult...

Two very rare and large Canton enamel vases on the original wooden stands with lovely rich patina and bright well painted scenes of the Chinese goddess Chang'e. These quatrefoil vases enables the owner to change the scenes at will by merely turning the vase to a different panel. This is rare to find in Chinese vases of the period.
