1900's Chinese Rock Crystal Carved Foo Dog Lion on Wood Stand

It is 3.1 inches (8 cm) tall 3.7 inches (9.3 cm) wide measured with stand and 1.8 inches (4.5 cm) tall by 3.3 inches (8.5 cm) wide measured without stand. The rock crystal bird is 188.6 gram.

The rock crystal has and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

19th century Chinese bangle bracelet of classical shape made out of transparent aquamarine Peking glass. Excellent color, occasional bubbles inside the material typical for the period. Glass charm emulating white nephrite Jade inscribed with delicate Arabic verses from the Koran on both sides. This set is in silver with a copper loop to hold on a chord. I bought this in Hong Kong so original provenance is unknown- possibly from the Xinjiang, Turkic Uyghur speaking area. Jade was very popular during the Mughal period in India and I would date this piece circa 19th century. Excellent condition- no chips or cracks. L 5.3cm/2.1in and W: 3.4cm/1.3in. Free shipping.

This is a ruby colored late Qing Dynasty glass vase. Dimensions 14 cm high

Late 1800s

Water pot of squat, ovoid form with a narrow foot and slight depression of a base. The even lavender-blue tone of the glass is translucent in strong light and is well-polished on the interior as well as the exterior. Such items as this were essential for the scholar's desk and are more often seen in ceramics than in Beijing glass. There are a few areas of abrasion and scratches from use and some light wear to the foot area...

Late 1800s

Bubble-suffused yellow glass in good condition still attached to original paper backing that reads: “Kwan Yick, Canton China.” Some minute speckled inclusions.

Chinese monochrome peking glass container in a nice shade of yellow with adorable carvings of small children playing along its sides. The top of the lid has a nice large rounded carving of Chinese characters, and the bottom has a carved mark, 20th century. Size: 2.75" height, 4" diameter

This late 19th century reverse glass painting is 13” x 19 ½” (20 ½” x 26 ¾” including frame). It depicts two birds surrounded by a rock garden, peony and plum blossoms. The translation of the calligraphy is: “Seeking refuge to escape the tyranny of the times; seeing those beautiful blossoms, it seems spring has begun the new year.” One of the signature seals on the top reads “Shao Xi;” this is the name of the artist. The frame is a newer replacement...

Of elegant pear shaped form. 18th. century, unmarked. Unfortunalely on all the images of the piece the blue color of the vase is much too light. In nature the vase has an wonderful very intensive blue tone. H : 18,8 cm. Condition : Perfect. Provenance : Old German collection.

This is a two colour wufu and coin motif peking glass snuff bottle. The colour of the bat is in light brown colour and the coin is green colour. Wufu means the five fortune. The chinese coin in general means "Tong Bao" or treasure. On both side of the coin, it is inscribed with the character "Tian Xia Tai Ping" which means peace to the world. Cir. late 19th century.

Rare and beautiful group of 120 Han Dynasty glass beads: 118 small beads, and 2 larger beads. A range of color from green to yellow and other that are calcified white with age. Some round and some foliate shape. A range of size from 5/16" to 3/4" wide. Strung together for a total of approx. 20" long strand. Han Dynasty (206 B.C. to 220 A.D.)

Statue of Kuan Yin, wearing a robe and a cape, sitting in "regal repose" on a dais surmounting a stylised lotus. Kuan yin is holding a scroll on her left hand and a small ball on her right hand. Glass, with remnants of soil encrustations. China, Qing Dynasty, early 19th century, maybe earlier. Height: 11.3 cm. Small chip at the back of right hand otherwise very good condition.
