Two playful monkeys climbing on a large peach, carved from antique agate. Monkeys are commonly depicted in Chinese art as holding a peach as a symbol for wealth and a long life because the word for "monkey" is a homophone to the word for "nobleman". They often call this "feng hou bao shou" which can mean both "crazy monkey clutching [a peach]" as well as "may you become a salaried official and embrace longevity". 19th century Size: 1.5" long x 1.25" tall

Late Qing era, well crafted Chinese Jade carving in the form of a saddled recumbent horse in graduated shades of green, having incised details and openwork areas at head and feet. The overall is 3.5 inches (9 cm) long by 1.3 inches (3.4 cm) wide. The pendant is 1.6 inches (4 cm) long by 1.3 inches (3.4 cm) wide. the jadeite bead is 9.1 mm. It is 29.4 gram.

Chinese Nephrite Jade reclining Horse Toggle, white with light brown inclusions with very smooth oily patina, Ca. before 1900, 2 1/8" long, 1 1/8" high, horse is seated position looking backward, with small hole through the top to the bottom. It is difficult to capture the translucent white Jade through camera. The condition is good.

Jade water bucket in form of amusing toad.Inlaid with yellow metal. It is impossible to check if it is gold because it would be necessary to tear off encrustations to test ,however the object has not been cleaned for several years and only gold can remain shiny, bronze or brass would have oxide. The metal wires in some places are split in half lengthwise, which is probably due to a certain technique? The work is very neat, underneath there are traces of tools which should help a specialist...
