This very well carved white jade (nephrite) Lohan (Arhat) is an early 20th century product. It depicts a Lohan sitting on a rock, his left hand holds a wood stick he is using to clean his ear; his right arm is resting on the rock. The impression on his face is just interesting and realistic. It is 6 ¼” high, 5 ¾” wide and 3 ½” thick. Aside from natural blemishes, it is in great condition.

Antique Chinese jadeite carving of a pair of peanuts with leaves and vines growing out of their top, and a small chimera crawling along the bottom with its legs and tails pointed upwards. Peanuts are called "huasheng" in Chinese, and are considered a lucky charm for those wishing to have many children as "sheng" means "giving birth". Early 20th Century rose quartz carving of 2 beauties. Made of one piece, it is difficult to find a double figure carving like this. Presented on a custom rosewood stand, this rose quartz carving has really nice details that we were not able to fully capture with a camera. It is much nicer in person and you won't be disappointed. Very fine Chinese antique belt hook carved in the shape of a knot with a butterfly on either end, made of beautiful mottled jade ranging from white to grey to bright blue/green, a silver fitting on the back was added later to convert this clothing hook to a pin or broach.

Two pairs of nephrite /spinach jade footed cups or goblets, one pair smaller than the other. Chinese, early 20th century. The cups of bell-shape, the stems conical, the only decoration being a line between stem and cup, creating the impression of a seam or joint. Height: "3 ¼ and “4 / 8 and 10 cm respectively. Condition: fine, with the exception of a minimal nick to the foot rim of one of the smaller goblets that can be felt but not seen, could be polished away.

The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.
