Condition: As is often seen on Ming bronzes the casting is very thin in several places. This has caused minor holes in the bronze. The backside of the seat is missing. Please refer to the pics.
Remains of red and black pigment are visible.

The censer is cast with twin upright handles and the body is decorated with three taotie panels divided by flanges. It is raised on three tall supports each decorated with a stylised mask and a flange. Late Ming Dynasty, 16th - 17th century. H : 25,9 cm. There is an old inventory Number to the base of the body. Ex Christie´s London.

A Chinese bronze two-handled vase cast in relief with mountains, masks and ribbons, 28 cms., Song/Yuan dynasty, 12th/13th century.
Unusually large for a vase of this type, it has had the base plate removed and put back, like many such vases for some reason.

16th Century Chinese Gilt Lacquer Bronze Buddha on Lotus Seat
It is 13 inches (33 cm) tall by 8 inches (20.3 cm) wide. It weights 6.5 lb.
It has peeling of lacquer, loss of gold, chip at one finger, manufacturer defect of firing holes and cracks, chip at the tip of her tassel, the lotus and base's edge, and one of the foot at the stand was repaired (as seen in the photos).

Extremely nice Chinese silverwork artefact. A so called lock pendant. My field is porcelain and unfortunately I am not so familiar with silverwork. Although I am confident, that it is Quing dynasy, this extremely nice work looks a littlebit like it would be a Yuan Dynasty piece. Excavated at Sangihe Island north Sulawesi Indonesia.

A Chinese bronze ting, after a Shang dynasty original, heavily cast and with nice malachite and red areas of patina, archaic inscription to the interior. 19 cms high. Song dynasty, circa 12th century.

Small cast bronze incense burner. Ding (tripod) shape. Beautiful casting and neat finish. The sobriety of the decor and the perfection of the volumes giving this small creation a powerful yet elegant appearance suggest that it is a very old censer, probably from the Song period. An excellent very old patina stained with verdigris in places would be compatible with this earlier period. Height 82mm. Fine condition.
