A large and impressive Chinese flambe-glazed porcelain moon flask, with garlic neck and ruyi head handles, covered in a thick semi translucent red and light blue flambe glaze which finishes neatly at the foot. The base with an incised Qianlong six-character seal mark underneath a mottled brown translucent glaze.
Qing dynasty. Height 40 cms.
Provenance: Formerly the property of a now aged gentleman collector, this flask has been in storage for some years while he lived abroad...

This plate features an underglaze motif in animal form with a Chinese character in the center.
Measurements: diameter is 17cm (across).
Condition: there is some fritting around the edges but overall in excellent condition.

This bowl features an underglaze band of semi-circles around the outer rim bordered with sparsely placed auspicious Buddhist Wheels of Law and clusters of circle dots on the lower portion of the outer wall. The center of the vessel is decorated with an animal figure.

A Chinese Yue Celadon Glazed Chicken-Head Ewer. Circa, 220-589, Six Dynasties.
This jar features a compressed globular body with a short neck that flares to a thick upper flange which is slightly depressed in the center. Opposite its thick curved handle is a chicken-head spout. Two lug handles set on its shoulders and is covered with a green celadon glaze. Its base is unglazed exposing a compact grey stoneware clay.

Set of 3 “Socialist Kitsch”, porcelain brush pots with green Jingdezhen “China” marks inside the “bi” shaped footrims, circa 1960s-1970s. These all have the same mark and same dimensions H: 12cm/4.8in and D: 8.4cm/3.2in. Relatively good Jingdezhen quality porcelain, and simple polychrome decorations with revolutionary slogans. These were meant for mass consumption but amazingly little of it remains today...

This blue & white porcelain box was made during the late 19th century or possibly the early 20th century. It is heavily-potted and glazed, both inside and out, the glaze a little crackled in places. The outer surface is covered in a geometric/floral pattern in underglaze blue. Inside the box and the cover are characters etched into the glaze; we have not had these translated although we believe they are words of memorial...

Pair of hard porcelain vases, enamel decoration of butterflies, birds and flowers. Dragons chasing the sacred pearl surround the collar inside and out. Golden details. The flared shape is elegant and very rare, the enamels are of excellent quality, the patterns are well drawn and the presence of dragons is also rare on this type of porcelain which, almost always, was intended for Europe.
Good general condition, no restoration...
Chinese Qing to Republic period porcelain lion dog seated with an open mouth revealing ferocious teeth and a well-formed protruding tongue, covered overall with a golden amber glaze. 8 1/2" high x about 8" long. Early 20th century. An old price tag is adhered to the unglazed base. Very good overall condition with possibly a tiny loss or production flaw to the side of one tooth. From a Paradise Valley, Arizona estate.
