This is one of two Song Dynasty (960 - 1279) celadon bowls. Both are in fantastic shape and are an incredible buy. This one measures roughly 15 cm across.

A nice piece of Ming dynasty funerary sancai glazed groom and horse. The horse is in light brown glazed while the groom wears a black cap, with a moustache and wearing a light green overcoat with white collar. The horse has a green glazed harness,tussles and saddle cloth. The saddle is brown in colour.

There is only a chip to the horse ear as shown in picture no.4 by the circle. The chip on the horse ear can be easily repaired by an expert restorer...

A simple black glazed ribbed vase with foliated rim. It stand on a two tier splay high foot, then everted towards a bulb like body towards a straight neck and then slightly everted towards a foliated mouth rim.

Chinese stoneware jar with two loop handles, high neck with small, rolled rim, and flat bottom. The jar is amber glazed only at the upper shoulder with a few drips extending down onto the body. Antique Chinese celadon stoneware bowl with green glaze. The bowl has subtle textures, the center has a faint lotus flower encircled by an incised line, the body has radiating lines from the center, the rim of the bowl is slightly recessed. It measures 14" in diameter, 5" tall. The base has an unglazed ring where it was fired in the kiln and the unglazed ceramic can be seen.

Ming period 1425-1644, 7" high, 5 1/2" wide-widest part, nicely crackled and shows raised rings like turning wheel pattern on the entire body by the turning wheel by the artist. Glazed with Celadon color inside the heavy top rim area, and the bottom is unglazed. One side shows darker area caused by the firing with wood burning inside the Dragon kiln. Chinese Yuan Dynasty Glazed Stoneware Jar

This stoneware jar was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is quite "heavily-potted" and made from a sandy coloured stoneware. The inner and upper outer surfaces have been coated in a chocolate-brown glaze. Around the shoulder on opposing sides are two loop handles. Although not immediately obvious, this jar has, at some time in its history, been horizontally broken in two and expertly re-joined around the lower body (see images, bearin...

Black - brown iron glaze on a stoneware body. South China thirteenth to fourteenth centuries. There are also Thai pieces in a quite similar shape, but please don´t confound this piece with a Thai piece. Diameter : 10,3 cm. H : 5,5 cm. This is small Song Dynasty (960 – 1279) cizhou jar. It is decorated at the top with key fred design and below with lotus leave all round. This bowl is covered overall in an attractive bluish green celadon glaze except for the footring, which shows the buff-toned porcelaneous stoneware body. The glaze is somewhat unevenly applied to the exterior. The interior has a glaze bubble that popped in the firing. Acquired in the early 1980s from an antiques dealer in Alexandria, VA.
