A Fine Koren Carved Wood Folk Wedding Duck: Korea, 19th Century
Carved with a lozenge-form body with a flat, oval base and a fitted with a detachable
neck and head which fit into a round hole in the body, painted in black pigment with
two eyes, its beak has two holes for fiting laces, it has old rich dark patina on the surface.
This wedding duck is superb piece of Korean folk sculpture, warm and compelling in this
