This well balanced shallow dish applied with a beautiful sea-green
crackled and transparent celadon glaze overall, set on a raised ring foot,
its foot rim unglazed and its base sea-green celadon glazed.
It’s in very good condition with a few short hairline cracks on the rim.

A Fine Group of 8 Early Punchong Ware Small Dishes
Korea, early Joseon period, 15th -16th century
They small sized group of Punchong dishes decorated with white slip brush,
white slip inlaid and white slip dumped with insiced decorations are rare with 8 dishes,
some dishes with clear glzes and others with clear celadon glaze.
They are all in fine condition except 1 dishe with a chip.
It measures 10cm – 14cm small to large, (4” x 5.5”).
Korean Buncheong ware bowl with motif of six flowers forming a large flower at the center. It is bordered with flower petal pattern,then with an outer floral patterned band. The exterior is decorated with a a band of spots. The design is stamped into the clay, a white slip fills in the gaps, and a clear glaze coats the piece creating the contrast of white and gray under a smooth surface. Age: Joseon Period. Korean vanity box made with persimmon wood panels. The box lid opens with brass hinges and brass front plating, incised with floral motifs. The interior of the box holds 4 compartments. Its sides conceal two small hidden drawers, opened by brass pulls, and the base of the piece has an interior low shelf.

The design is cast in relief on the obverse of this Mirror depicts a ship sailing on a stormy sea.
A large dragon arises from the upper left and the right with clouds of spray cap the surging
waves. At the top, above the ship’s banner, are four character inscriptions in archaic
seal style script: Huang Pi Chang Chon (clear, vast, luminous heaven) with a good silver-greenish patina on the face and back...

A (North) Korean bronze mirror of petaloid form decorated with floral scrolling to the interior of the rim. The raised border of the central reserve following the petaloid form of the mirror edge. The reserve is divided into five repeating sections each terminating in "spearhead motifs", possibly a leaf with tendrils either side, both from the central boss and the raised border (10 in total, five from the boss pointing outwards, five from the border pointing inwards)...
Good Joseon Dynasty, 19th century stoneware cup/bowl with high footrim and pale greenish gray glaze and gray stoneware , this is a simple regional folk ware but has a pleasing almost celadon feel to it that needs to be held to be appreciated. There is some kiln grit in the cavetto as well as three minor hairline stress cracks. H: 8.7cm/3.5in and D: 13.1cm//5.2in.
