A Rare Korean Fine White Glazed Baluster Shape Porcelain Jar-18th C.:

The finely potted baluster form with bulbous shouler and tapering waist and
raised mouth rim, decorated with an overall warm and slilght blue tinged white glaze applied,
some areas slightly discolored in firing.
It’s in fine condition but a small chip repaired near the foot (see photo #2),
otherwise very fine condition, it measures 10.25” h. x 8” (26cm x 20.8cm).
A very unusual Korean chest with a complex network of geometric designs on its front, top, and sides, brass hardware incised with floral motifs, two front doors with large brass lock and working key, opening to a beautiful interior of persimmon laminate front drawers. The middle drawer opens with a special secret latch underneath it.

A small bottle of very fine and rare beautiful blue glazed, of compressed globular form
set on a short ring foot with tall, cylindrical neck ending in a rolled lip, brushed
overall with cobalt blue under fine and clear white glaze, the recessed base
and inside of the moutn glazed white.
It’s in very fine condition, it measure 10 cm x 7.5 cm (4” x 3”) respectably.
Beautiful Northern Korean bandaji (blanket storage chest) with highly ornate white brass fittings incised with birds and flowers and auspicious symbols. The white brass plated mounts are cladded onto the front of the chest hinged to allow operation of the drop leaf door. The chest has two handles on the side for mobility and two handles on the front to aid in operation of the door.

Antique Korean large blue and white porcelain jar, with a long, oval shaped body. Cobalt underglaze sparrows and pomegranates on branches decorate the body, with a collar of ruyi motifs along the base of the neck. The foot has a single ring above it in cobalt blue. Choson Dynasty 19th century.

Extraordinary Korean cabinet in three stacking sections. Covered with inlay on a black lacquer ground. The front is very densely covered with scenes of rural Korea: scholars in gardens, farmers at work, maidens in pavilion windows, and lovely vignettes of mountains, and rivers with bridges and boats. Silver toned chased brass hardware includes many butterfly hinges and lock plates...
A large Korean celadon glazed stoneware bowl with incised decoration of a pair of stylised birds, presumably Pheonixes or possibly Cranes. The bowl dates to the late 11th or the 12th century.
The bowl measures 8 inches in diameter and stands 2.5 inches high at the rim. There is one extremely fine hairline crack to the rim that is scarcely visible to to the naked eye. There are no chips, frits cracks or restoration. Additional images on request.

A Pair of Very Fine Korean Silk Embroidered Crane Official Rank Badges-19th C.: Korean, Joseon period, 19th century.
Made for a civilian official of first to third rank, the almost square showing a double
white cranes jointly grasping a Pulloch’o stalk in mouth, soaring above stylized forming
waves and rockrork amid clouds outlined in couched thread, worked in shades of blue,
green white and pruple on a green silk ground.
They’re in good condition, measures 21cm x 23cm...
