A Thai polychrome enamel decorated stoneware offering dish. Similar porcelains were made in China for the Thai market. Primitively painted decoration in yellow, green white, red and blue enamels. It is not clear to us whether this is imported production or domestic production. Two Chinese characters appear within rectangular, impressed seal mark on the base. Diameter, about 9 1/8 inches. Height, about 3 5/8 inches.

Very nice late 18th Century Benjarong Porcelain Bowl, especially made in China for the Siamese Court and Nobility. The inside is emerald green with flower decor and a center medallion, whereas the outside depicts 4 alternative Norasingh and Kinaree medallions and a Famille Noire background. Good condition, shiny glaze preserved and the top rim is nicely banded in bronze. 1 very small, minor and inconsequential firing hairline on top rim, only noticeable upon close inspection....

A large and wonderful glazed ceramic roof ornament from Vietnam, adorned a temple or Imperial residence, bright color with frieze of koi fish and seaweed, lovely blue waves. Measures 19 3/4" high 12" wide and 5" deep. Substantial and heavy, with pleasing color glazes, the scene depicts koi fish next to an underwater plant and brown water creatures (frogs?) above...

Antique, Southeast Asian, celadon crackle glazed ceramic large figural jar on a circular socle base. The jar has a baluster body, splayed foot, and a short, everted neck. The shoulder of the jar is decorated with five guardian figures, each mounted on an elephant. The figures are finely hand-sculpted in high relief and wear top spiky headdresses, necklaces, and bracelets. They have their hands folded in a prayer gesture...

A rare and beautifully made lime pot with a crackle glaze. The lime in these pots helped to soften the betel nut, making it easy to chew. Any genuine antique lime pot will show signs of wear and use, those that are perfect, are most likely new. Evidence of a crusty white residue around the mouth should be present, as well as some wear to the glaze. This small lime pot is charming and displays very well. Typically used through out Southeast Asia, these are quite rare...
