Very fine gilt wooden Burmese Nat with elaborate dress, inlaid with many sparkling mirror pieces. The figure is in a protective position with hands guarding off evil spirits. The Nat's name is "Amay Yay Yin", meaning "Mother Yay Yin" and she conquered the river. Thus, people who travel by water, revere her to protect them from danger. Very beautiful Sawankhalok Celadon bowl with
iridescent glaze. 14/15th Century. Foot and part of inside (middle ring only) unglazed, typical for stacked ware fired in kilns during this period to prevent bowls from sticking to each other. Condition perfect, no hairlines, chips nor repairs whatsoever. 19 cm. diameter, height 5.5 cm. Collector's item!
Burmese puppet head was mainly used in the puppet show. The string on top of the head can be pulled up to slide the tongue in and out of puppet's mouth. Due to the heavily used of puppets, the body and costumes are no longer survived.

From the handle to the tip spout is approximately 11 cm. The ewer has some peeled glaze, mostly on the handle. In good condition.
