The incense burner consists of a thick and solid cast bronze cup which rests on a tripod base also in cast bronze. A cut copper cover is held by a hinge fixed by rivets. Islamic work from the middle east. Very nice old patina of the metal. Bronze very earlier than the 18th century. H:21cm. A hole on the lid (see photo) otherwise good condition.

This is an exquisite example of an authentic antique double-wicked oil lamp from the Khorasan Seljuk/Seljuq Turks Period during the 12th century AD (6th century AH "Hijri"). This lamp is made of cast bronze and features a rounded body that sits on a spreading trumpet foot. It has two spreading spouts that project from the front and a hinged domed lid. A pair of antique, 19th century, Islamic Turkish Ottoman stirrups of characteristic form. They are made of brass and have a curved base plate flanked by flat sides that rise to an arch and finish with a loop. The stirrups are decorated in openwork with typical Ottoman neo-rococo style motifs. The base plate is cut in an elaborate cartouche surrounded by acanthus scrolls.

A pair of antique, 17th – 18th century, Islamic, Turkish Ottoman stirrups of a characteristic form. The stirrups are made of russet iron and have a curved base plate. The sides of the stirrups rise towards the arch and finish with a loop. The surface of the stirrups is decorated with linear ornaments that are inlaid with silver wire and adorned with white metal studs. One of the stirrups is signed in Arabic alphabet with silver wire...

The entire surface of this box is covered with a Persian floral design executed in pure gold overlaid on steel. The interior is fitted with silk moire sections. The lid is hinged and has a lock but no key. The base is undecorated steel. There is an area on the lid that is rubbed and some of the gold is lost.
