Abraham Paz was known for bringing to life the designs of Fred Davis. Many of Davis's designs are signed by Abraham Paz. The stone is large and I believe it is obsidian without a sheen. You can put light to the back of the undamaged stone and see that it is most probably Obisidian. The length is 15in. That may seem short but it is built like a pectoral that perks up at the hollow of the neck and sits comfortably tipped outward...

This Antonio Pineda moonstone necklace is one rarely seen. It is his old hallmark before the crown. The length is a wearable 16in. long and is 15/16th's inches tall. A superb 19th century hanging moon Vase of caramel bronze gilded inside entrrely with gold and enclosed in a custom kiri-wood period box titled Kara-kin Gekkei Hanaire (gilded Chinese-Bronze Vase). In this case the word Chinese does not indicate it being manufactured in China, but using a mixture of bronze based on Chinese origins. Sterling silver and leather horseshoe bolo tie designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. (1919-2009). Bolo measures 40" long from tip to tip. 20" long when worn. Horseshoe is 1 1/2" X 1 1/4". Horseshoe nails are each 1 1/2" long. The braided leather is original & in beautiful condition. Fully hallmarked on back of horseshoe. Antonio designs are included in the permanent 20th Century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art - LACMA.
