A vintage 1960s Rosko Japan Hy-Que Speak No Evil mechanical steel and plastic battery operated monkey toy. This famous 17" tall toy has brightly lithographed metal parts and soft rubber hands and head with fur. The clothing is intact and in excellent shape as is the metalwork (it rates a visual C9 to us). The mechanism doesn't work, however the face does light up. The battery tray is clean with only minor stains and it is free of corrosion...

As rare-as-can-be not just for its signature but also for the black opal baguettes it showcases, this vintage Mexican silver architectural ring was created by Carmen Beckmann. Beckmann is reported in the literature to have worked primarily in the 1950s and 1960s in San Miguel de Allende and her jewelry can vary from inspired to simply good. This handmade pair of Tibetan boots was typically used by the Tibetan Minority groups for centuries. Each regional Tibetan group used its own distinct colored thread design pattern. Monks and officials also could be recognized by the thread design of their boots. These were a "commoners" boot and judging by their size, they were used by a young teenager. I suspect that they were only worn once or twice and they are in wonderful condition. Heel to toe they measure 9" and stand 12" high.

Salvador Teran earrings design # 121 is 1.25in. across in an arc shape. The stones sparkle and the earrings are without damage. There is a natural patina that is untouched and left for the buyers desire. Very well hallmarked and in your hands you will feel the quality of the thick silver. Margot de Taxco design # 5120 with amethyst drops is rare. This beauty is properly hallmarked on both the chain and the drop. The necklace is 17.5 inches long and has a weight of 72 grams heavy. This Reveri bracelet full of tiny beads and chain link is one inch tall and 7 in. long of methodical placement of each. The weight is 58 grams of thick silver with heft. Properly signed Margot de Taxco by Margot Van Voorhies Carr. The construction is open backed repousse with a strong frame around the edges that make it not bendable as well as 70 grams of silver thickness. This silver is exceptionally higher than 925. The gap is 1 inch and the diameter for fit is 2.25in. The height of the cuff is 1 7/8th inches tall. This is an example without damage and is also a very rare Margot. This should be at the top of any collectors list.

Salvador Teran was one of the important Mexican designers from the Spratling Era and this elegant and early pearl and stone necklace bares his signature. Partially rubbed but the signature is there.
