This everted rim bowl is decorated in brown and green under a yellow ash glaze, with a lotus flower motif in the centre and brown areas on the rim; unglazed base. PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 5.5 cm tall, 15 cm wide. CONDITION: very good glaze, no chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.

An example of hallmarked Mexico Silver which was made very early in Mexico City. The puffy repousse is gorgeous on this pectoral and is expertly carved.
