Japanese Edo to Meiji period bronze mirror (kagami) with handle, decorated in relief with palm leaves and flowers. Inscribed with the Fujiwara Shigeyoshi maker’s mark. Measures 8 1/8” long x 5 3/4" diameter. 19th century. Very good overall condition. There is a tiny nick at the bottom of the handle. From the Sahuarita, Arizona collection of former expatriates to Okinawa in the 1970s. Stand not included.

This is a pre 1948 Old Mexico City folk style by CEL. The work is gorgeous and lays perfectly The stones are clear and with a jelly amethyst in it's center. 66 grams of quality and a 19 inches of length. The center drop is 4in. across and 3 inches tall and 4 inches tall if you add in the larger lead in link. CEL worked in the pre eagle phase, the eagle phase and into the latter after 1980 with a Mexico City origin at that point...

A very romantic piece of jewelry is this great diamond heart pendant. Set in 14Kt white gold and set with 165 high quality diamonds. The crossing lines are channel set with 53 square cut diamonds, while the remaining areas are pave set with 112 various size brilliant cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 2.75Ct. The back of the pendant has a great openwork design. The width of the heart is ¾” and the height including the diamond pave bail is 1”.

Before applying the random strokes of purple splashes, one on the outer wall and another at the inner side, the ancient potter must had been dipping the bowl in the glaze so swiftly as to leaving the body in the cavetto partially unglazed like the bottom side. A silver rabbit and large solid bronze figure of the young god O-kuninushi no Mikado by Oshima Joun on a black lacquered stand enclosed in the original signed and red lacquered wooden box with separate compartments for the table and figure. Here we see O-kuninushi seated beside his bundle of belongings, hand extended in benevolence to the meek creature. The box is titled O-kuninushi Go-Zo, Go Okimono, Tobu Oshimia Joun Sakku followed by a ka-o signature...

A stunning box covered entirely in mother of pearl upon which is the crescent moon in lead under maki-e gold florals. Inside Rimpa style dear rest in lead and gold maki-e on a ground of red-tinted Nashiji. The box is in excellent condition, likely dating from the mid 19th century. It measures 22 x 24.5 x 5 cm (8-1/2 x 9-1/2 x 2 inches).
