It was well preserved with only one minute defect on tip of the ox's right horn.

An impressive, Mingei carved wood kiseruzutsu (a pipe case or holder worn similarly as a sashi netsuke) with snake and frog decoration - quite appropriate for the 'year of the snake' and a tiny compass with inlaid into one corner. This antique gau would have been worn around the neck of a Tibetan woman during festivals. The gau front and side surfaces are decorated with ornate wire work and the front has small beads of turquoise, coral and Lapis. Exceptional 1960's vintage Indiana Handcraft Glass Kingston 900 Demijohn in Burnt Honey color. This is a large, heavy bottle standing 18 inches (45.7 cm) tall. I can find no discernable scratches on this piece, and there are no chips, or cracks, this is a fabulous find. The glass is bright and colorful. Handblown, with rough pontil, attached handle. This piece was meant to rival Blenko, and it succeeds!
