Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs was the mentor of Hopi silversmith Charles Loloma and this sterling and lapis ring surely has the design elements and impeccable craftsmanship that influenced Loloma . This ring is a size 7 and the face measures 7/8 " by 7/8". It is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks to the beautiful lapis stone. Signed as shown. Please see the other Skaggs ring listed. Both are from the same estate and both are just magnificent.

Smashing color combination of peridot and amethysts in this stunning sterling ring by Arizona Modernist H. Fred Skaggs. The center highly polished irregular shaped peridot is surrounded by 8 highly polished irregular shaped amethysts. Currently a size 6, this ring could by sized as it is plain silver in the back. The face of the ring measures 1 1/8" long and 7/8" wide. It is in fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones and weighs 12.3 grams. Signed as shown. EXQUISITE !!

Characteristically and famously a leaf pattern was applied in the cavetto.
By greasy-feel quality belong to the Jizhou glaze, the surface was spread with subtle crackles which were caused by the age.
The body clay revealed at the bottom was in soft and loosening quality which was in line with the characteristics of the dated Jizhou wares.

You can’t get lost with this very unique fob/pendant in the shape of a compass, from the early 20th century. Alternating oval and round heavy gauge chain-links form the frame around the actual working double sided compass. The width of the pendant is 1” and the height is 1 3/8”.

Spectacular design and execution in this sterling and turquoise ring by Santo Domingo silversmith Julian Lovato. He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith for Frank Patania Sr. in the Thunderbird Shop. This ring was made during his time working there. The ring is a size 9 and in fine original condition.
