On brown silk gauze finely embroidered high ranking nobleman's court robe. In polychrome and couched gold threads nine five clawed dragons, one dragon hidden on the underflap of the garment. The mythical beasts chasing for the flaming pearl among clouds, bats, peaches and the buddhist precious things. The bottom of the textile is decorated with waves and stylised rocks. The sleeves worked in pleated dark blue silk, ending in horsehoof cuffs, side-fastening overlapping closure with metal buttons...

A small dish, heavily potted, covered in a beautiful celadon glaze producing the crackles of the Geyao type glaze. The recessed base is glazed while the foot rim is dressed with an iron brown wash. Japanese Fukagawa Imari porcelain floral vase signed on bottom. A beautifully hand painted and colorful large example measuring approx. 12.5 inches by 9 1/4 inches wide in excellent condition no damage.

This slender expressive statue represents the right hand of the Buddhist female deity worshiped as Quanyin in China, White Lotus in the US, Tara in Tibet, and Kuan Eim in Thailand, etc. The hand retains much of the original paint remains and is mounted on its own display stand. The hand alone is 14 inches high and including the stand is approx 18 inches high.

A colorful back buzi with a bear for a man, denoting the fifth military rank. Silk tapestry (kossu, k'o-suu) with metallic threads and painted details, the background covered by peacock feathers, which rarely survived to the present days. Blue silk lining. A chinese 19thc Ge type porcelain jar with lid , with underglaze blue landscape paintings on the front with bird and flower, section by dark iron glaze on the shoulder, lid and near the foot. Rare Ming dynasty longquan celadon large lantern vase, rounded side with barrel shape and unglazed foot ring, celadon vase decorated with carved chrysanthemum flower motif, vertical leaf on the neck and ribbing on the lower part, flower and cross motif at the belly, covered with nice green tone celadon glaze. Vase is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration but a glaze line on the body. Size: 34 cm height.

The vase has a globular body and tall long neck flanked by tubular handles, and is covered allover in a glaze of slightly pale olive green which falls in a line above the glazed base. 9 cm high Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.

Elaborate large head ornament featuring pumpkins, a butterfly and a cicada moth. Made of metal and cardboard covered with two shades of kingfisher feathers and red and green enamel. Condition: few losses of feathers. Dimension: 18 cm wide, 17 cm high.

Description: A pair of wood figures was in original condition. By crackled pigment on the surface, the pair of wood figures was used to be as attendants of a holy deity. With good metaphors of promotion and honorary recommendation by the emperor, the attendants were depicted by holding the wrapped official seal and the recommendation scroll accordingly. With strong religious mood and folklore's atmosphere, the wood pieces can a joyful collection of traditional Chinese sculpture...

A fine antique Chinese gilt bronze censer or planter with intricate design foo dog feet and a angelic figure with clouds measuring approx. 12 inches tall and 12 inches wide.

Coverd with black lacquer and gilding. The doors with intricately carved panels depicting dragons and phoenixes. The inside of the doors painted with flower vases. Wonderful untouched condition, even the small table is still present. Dimensions: 44x35x15 cm. South Chinese, 19th century.

An aquatint in colors by the famous Chinese artist Zao Wou-ki (Zao Wuji). He was born in Beijing 1921 and worked in Paris. Signed, dated '59 and numbered 32/95 in pencil. Condition: trimmed (die stamp of l'Oeuvre gravée only last 3 letters), slightly soiled and creased, reverse with annotations in pencil and traces of former mounting, one pinhole in image.
