Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice rolled handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.

A simply elegant 18 karat yellow gold belt buckle comes to us from Tiffany & Co. The buckle is quite heavy, weighing one full ounce (20dwt). The period mark is an M, indicating that the piece was made between 1907 and 1937. The length of the buckle is 1 ¾” and the height at the widest 1 11/16” and it will accommodate a 1” wide belt. The engraving in the back is the monogram GSR in Art Nouveau style letters.

This carved wooden dragon head and RuYi symbol is from an old Buddhist temple monastery in Inner Mongolia, a region that is now part of China. This piece was probably used to stablize joint between a support post and a rafter beam. Hand carved from teak wood, both sides have the same dragon head at one end and the ruyi form at other end which images as the dragons tail.

Offered is a wonderful 19th century, antique, papier mache and wooden black mammy doll manufactured during the late 1800s. The doll has no markings to indicate the manufacturer, but it features a papier mache head with a wooden torso, arms, and legs. Victorian Mercury glass demijohn bottle, 19th century. This early example of Mercury glass is hand blown with a rough pontil mark on the underside and a sheared lip at the top of the narrow neck. The rectangular form is embellished with vertical ribbing. The mercury finish is in very good condition, with only a single half inch diameter area where the finish exhibits signs of oxidation. Don’t get lost. You will get a very unusual trinket if you purchase this 14Kt gold pendant with a compass inside. Originally it was used as a watch fob in the 1920’s which explains some minor dents on the front and back. The design in the front is enhanced by a white gold coat of arms for initials that could be engraved, and the back is polished. The fob is ¾” square and 1 7/16 high with the bail standing on its corner.

Description: A nephrite jade pendant was carved as a tiger’s head. By a grayish tint, the jade piece was revealed with blackish incursions along the stone tissues and accompanied with ice crackles. They were all resulted from long time of burial. In adequate size, the jade piece was an ideal accessory in the past and in nowadays as well.
