Description:

A black-glazed Cizhou jar was uniquely decorated on the surface with ribbed lines.
It was a characteristic type of jars of Cizhou wares.
More uniquely, there are Chinese characters "Chang" which most likely as Chinese last names were inscribed on both loops.
They were finished by ribbed techniques.
Accordingly of the names, the jar was believed a custom-made ware by noble people.
It was a more valuable piece then.

Matching the set of sterling cufflinks that are also currently available in my inventory, a Margot de Taxco equestrian brooch in superb repousse with depth enhanced by gorgeous patina and Margot's signature quality in the design's execution. It measures 2 1/4" wide by 1" tall and weighs 12.1 grams. Fully signed with her name, a not so well stamped Eagle mark (should be Eagle 16) as well as with des. no 5160 the brooch dates in the 1950s-60s and is in excellent vintage condition.

A fine Meiji era cloisonne vase with decoration of colorful chidori flying over young bamboo all over an even mauve-violet background. The chidori with black, dark orange, light gray blue, and white details. The bamboo with green and some yellow details. A fine border appears along the rim and the foot. Condition is good. Signed HMM this lovely 3in. across and 2.5in. tall drop shows off 4 gem quality moonstones. The design is solid with detail being hand chased on thick silver. In one pix the camera flash only hits 2 of the moonstones but they all glow with a gorgeous blue. It boasts a 16in. wearable and is much more than pretty, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
