A rare Ming dynasty celadon Ge type dish, unglazed base, excavated from Kalimantan. Dish is in good condition no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restoration. Diameter = 11.5 cm

A lacquered Buddha figure holding a bowl seated on a high lotus pedestal. This meditating Buddha has a very gentle and calming face. The open area in the back is missing its former relics.

Condition: The lacquer is worn due to its age but the patina is beautiful. There are traces of gilding on the lacquer.

16th Century Japanese Mino School Tanto Short Sword Signed along with Lacquer Saya, Gilt Horses, Chrysanthemum & Wasp

The overall length of the entire tanto is 19 inches in length. It weighs 1.5 lb.

The blade is extremely sharp with no nicks, breaks, repair, nor scratches...

A finely blue & white dish with Phoenix on the center, and decorated with Emblems and continuous floral spray on the interior and exterior. PERIOD : Late Ming (1573-1619 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 19.5 cm CONDITION: very good, a firing crack, no chips or hairlines and free from restorations. Good sound when tapping with finger tips.

Description: An excavation jade seal was made from one nephrite Houtien pebble. Being carved as a lion crouching on top, the jade seal was intringuingly left a minute hole between the legs for hanging. In a charming yellowish-green tint, the jade piece was incursioned in parts to a calcification condition due to long time of burial. When in an enduring aged patina, the jade was overall in charming greasy look. A Chinese character " Ji" was carved as print. It is a metaphor word for good luck...

A Ming dynasty 16 - 17th century wanli period blue and white bowl, rounded side with bracket lobbed rim and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of deer, dragon fly and peaches motif, at center there is running deer motif, inner wall with peaches motif, outer wall with six deer, two dragon fly and two peach tree motif.
Bowl is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, some minor crackeled glaze at the surface, high ping sound with finger tip.

Good pair of Late Ming Chongzhen - Tianqi blue and white dragon stem cup, rounded side with high foot and unglazed base, stem cup decorated with under glaze blue of dragon motif chasing a flaming pearl surrounding with cloud motif. stem cup recovered from a shipwreck in Riau islands, same location with Hatcher shipwreck, found in a sealed storage jar.
Both stem cup is in very good condition good glaze, no chip, no crack no restoration.
Size: 5 cm height.

Most probably a part of a belt. Made in the forbidden stitch. L. 70 cm W. 10 cm. Expected age wear. Late Ming, ca. 16th/17th century.

Jar decorated with wheels of law alternating with groups of florals on the body. A band of loops around the neck and petal panels near the base. Chenghua Height = 10 cm Very good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations, imperfection firing on the glaze.

Fine Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Bowl - Bird

This very attractive porcelain bowl was made during the second half of the 16th century, c.1570 - 1590. The outer wall is very nicely decorated in underglaze blue, the pattern featuring a bird within a floral landscape. A flower blossom within two rings decorates the inside centre. To the base is a four-character mark (not translated).

Diameter 12.5 cm. This bowl is in fine condition...

Bottle/Vase which rounded sides and tall neck, decorated outside with panels of peonis, prunus, flower sprays and diaper design. Rui lappet and ribbon round the neck. Glazed base. This is similar with the item on the Chinese Blue and White Ceramics by ST Yeo & Jean Martin, Southeast Asian Ceramic Society, 1978, page 210 item 124. A rare Ming dynasty 17th century Wanli period blue and white big bowl, rounded side with bracket lobbed rim and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of galloping horse at the exterior and weaves at interior, center also with horse and weaves, ruyi cloud motif at lower part.
Bowl is in good condition with a faint hairline on the rim, no chip, no restoration.

Description: An old bronze figure was nicely rendered in details. By a fine bronze material, the craftsman casted and depicted the daoist character in a very good skill. Wearing a gourd in the waist, the deity Lan Tsi-Ho who was one of the eight deities from a famous folklore blow his flute in an easy and casual mood. By a well preserved black patina, the bronze piece was in perfect condition when a later made Zitan stand was added as an adequate match...

A beautiful large black Seto Guro Hikidashi Chawan with undulating rim sculpted to perfectly rest in the hands by some anonymous 17th to 18th century potter. It is 5 inches (13 cm) diameter, 3 inches (8 cm) tall and in fine condition.
