Obviously inspired by a similar Antonio design, this mod Margarita bracelet is spectacularly massive. Its substantial concave links are alternated by ones that hold chunky amethyst cabochons set in bezels. The stones are gorgeous with interesting inclusions and the beading that separates the pairs adds that little extra pizzaz to the design. Wrought out of 980 silver the bracelet has an inner circumference of 6 5/8" (clasped) so it's perfect for smaller to medium wrists...

I am thrilled to present this small wonder of Matilde Poulat's, an early hair comb with the maestra's signature repousse and bezel set jewels. In this case, the stones are one amethyst and two faux turquoise cabs positioned in a pyramid shape right at the comb's center. Gorgeous patina, no flaws noted, with the actual plastic comb in very good shape (I believe also original to the piece), this is a treasure to be displayed and enjoyed...

We are all familiar with Isidro Pina's Maricela book-piece brooches or his fabulous pin and earrings sets but how many times do we actually bump into a necklace bearing that signature? So you understand how thrilled I am to be presenting the necklace at hand - an absolute surrpise and breath-taking at that. But for its delicately elegant proportions, I would have expected this to be an Antonio piece or signed by one of the other modernists in Taxco...

Excellent vintage mid-century modern sterling cuff with a very distinctive design incorporating carved wood and turquoise. Circa 1960. Marked STERLING and also with a mark which looks like three animal claws or an animal track. Although I can't find this exact mark in "Hallmarks of the Southwest" I am guessing this piece is Native American.

The centerpiece is a piece of carved grained wood which is layered between silver pieces which follow the outlines of the wood...

Based, I believe, on a Hector Aguilar creation a gorgeous necklace with links in a stylized cactus flower design made by one of my favorite "less celebrated" makers who signs his work with initials A and E in a heart-shaped M. This is a masterfully made necklace with very good weight and it sits like a dream around the neck. Not to overdo it but its patina is also to die for. The necklace measures 16 1/2" long (wearable) by just over 7/8" wide and weighs 76.9 grams...
