Felipe Martinez is the designer for this rare bracelet consisting of a niello background, a filigree inset and touched off with repousse beading all around. There is patina around all the bead work and it will be left for the new owner to leave or keep. There are no dents or damage of any kind. The piece measures 7 inches long, is made of thick silver and is 1.25in. wide. The weight is 45 grams. It is properly hallmarked as shown. In 1952 award winning Sigi Pineda opened his own shop in Taxco. These pieces marked and numbered Plateros (enough of the mark is there for easy identification) are some of his best designs. This rare marking did not last long as he soon changed the name of his shop to Sigi. The drop is 4 inches across and 3.25 inches tall from the sides. The pectoral takes sweeps and swirls so it is measured with the highest point. The entire necklace is hand chased...

Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period geyao type shallow bowl covered overall with a fine crackle glaze on a creamy white ground. The high foot rim is glazed on the exterior. The recessed base is glazed and the glaze extends part way up the inner side of the inward slanting foot where it ends with an orange burn line. There are seven brown glazed spots on the base that simulate Song kiln supports. 10 3/8” diameter x 2 1/4” high. 18th century...

This is a pair of Antonio Pineda amethyst earrings with the "mirror" link. The stones have no chips or cracks and only natural inclusions inside the stones. Properly hallmarked as shown and weighing in at 24 grams. They are a little over half an inch at the widest point. These are rarely seen and are the exact design match the newly listed Pineda amethyst necklace on my site.

Rare Gorham Arts & Crafts sterling silver sauce gravy ladle in a hammered surface and with mixed metals design on the handle of two cherries, leaf and twig in bronze, and with a second leaf in gilded silver. Circa 1885. Excellent condition. Marks: stamped with the Gorham logo (lion, anchor, G) "sterling & other metals", and with the name of the retailer George H. Ford. Size: 6" length.

Emeralds (birthstone for May) have been thought to bring wisdom and preserve love. These sweet bright green emerald earrings are made from unmarked but tested 14kt rose gold. They are 13/16” long, and the buttercup settings measure 1/2” across. The stones measure 5-1/2mm across. I believe the ear wires used to have hooks to slip into, but those are not present and the stubs have been smoothed over. One of the emeralds is chipped in the back, but both stones face up well...

Measuring 14 inches long by 11 inches wide, this delightful watercolor features a charming rendition of a young, straw-hatted black boy straddling a fence while clutching a plump watermelon! Signed "M. Shirreff" in the lower right corner.

Remaining in its original frame, this watercolor retains its vibrant color. A lovely piece of Black Americana executed with some naivete!
