Striking necklace by important African American silversmith Art Smith, circa 1950s. The necklace is three dimensional, with the internal opening on a higher plane than the outer loop. The large scale of this piece of 'wearable art' makes this a very desirable find.

Brass. Excellent condition. Choker length measuring approx. 5"x 8". Interior opening measures just over 4" in diameter. It is correctly signed "Art Smith" on the rear.

A very rare Song stone carved mirror holder in the shape of a mythical ox called n Xiniu. The ox has his head turned upward and is looking at the moon which is represented by the bronze mirror above and the stone carvings represent the clouds. Water pitcher in Narcissus Spray pattern by Indiana Glass. Pattern was made from 1917 to around 1928. Pressed glass pattern decorated with Red, Green and Gold. Pitcher is 8 1/2 inches (cm) tall, very heavy glass. Minor surface scratches and manufacturing stress marks, but no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1920.

An English Victorian claret jug in cut crystal mounted with a sterling silver handle and spout with hinged cover. Fully hallmarked on the silver neck for Birmingham, 1892, by Vale Brothers & Sermon. Size: 8.5" ht. x 5.5" x 4.5". Condition: No chips, cracks, dents, or repairs. Crystal is clear apart from some slight cloudiness on the very bottom of the jug (which might be removed with soaking).

Description: A white jade carving of a Longevity carrying a child on his back. By a popular Chinese metaphor of long life and abundance in posterity, the white jade piece was well carved from a creek-found pebble(Zi-liao).and was in transparent look. It was greasy feel on the surface and was in perfect condition. It was much more white in real than in the pictures. Date: Qing Dynasty,18th/19th century. Height: 4.3cm.
