A rare Song dynasty longquan celadon censer with fish handle, rounded side with deep center and unglazed foot ring, censer is covered with crackle green celadon glaze, two handle attribute to fish motif on the side. Condition : Restored to the missing part. Measure : Size: 7 cm height.

A black-glazed Jizhou bowl was preserved in a fine condition.
By a beautiful grayish image of freely painted plum branch in the cavetto against the black ground, the tea bowl was mold in a typical Wan shape when standing by a flat foot ring which was a strong characteristic for a Jizhou bowl.
The buff-tinted soft-feel paste revealed at the bottom was another obvious characteristic for this dated ware.

A burial stoneware jar with heavily potted, decorated with relief of the dragon chasing a flaming pearl. On the one side of the jar are three vestigial lugs in vertical sequence, covered overall with black glaze and bluish irridescent in the glaze. Description: One celadon censer on three feet was from Longquan kiln Zhejiang of Yuan Dynasty. Crackled beautifully under introspective gloss of the glaze, patterns of Eight Diagram were decorated around the outer wall. When the steep circular foot rim was molded to support the censer, three suspended feet were used only as decoration with which was a typical Yuan ware's characteristic. Cute miniature bluish qingbai vase with flower carved decoration, unglaze base. PERIOD : Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 8 cm height. CONDITION: no chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations. Hole on the base.

A Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum - Hongzhi period blue and white bowl, rounded side with everted rim and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue scenery of Phoenix, human and landscape motif, center with sitting scholar motif.
Bowl is in very good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration.
Size: 12.8 cm diameter.

A fine celadon large dish, decorated with incised lotus to the center and fluted sides on cavetto wall, outside is plain. Covered overall with olive green glaze in very good condition, only found a chip to foot rim (visible on the last enlargement) and glaze hairline to the outside cavetto but not crossing to the front side, otherwise is excellent with porcelain body. Late Song to Yuan Longquan ware found in Sulawesi. Diameter: 34cm.

A rare b/w bowl, decorated at the exterior with chrysanthemum spray. Interior centre with a flaming pearl motif and a classic scroll border to the inner rim. Yuan dynasty 14th century Jindezhen or Fujian wares. Condition with minor re-touched to the rim area, but the pieces is not broken. Diameter: 12 cm and High: 5.9 cm.

Description:
A black-glazed tea cup was in greasy-feel surface.
It was suffused with obvious incursions in the glaze.
The charming silver streaks were yielded under firing.

With shallow, molded in the interior with a large leafy scroll, covered all over in a green glaze continuing over the unglazed foot rim to cover the base. 22,3 cm diam. Song Dynasty 12th-13th century Star glaze line on the center, no chips or cracks and free from restorations.

A rare wooden Buddha in a seated position on a lotus pedestal. The face is serenely contemplative and the robe is carved to show the gathered folds. Wooden Buddhas from this period are very difficult to find. This Buddha has a natural, calming presence.

Period: Yuan/Ming or earlier

Size: Height = 31 cm., Width at base = 18 cm.

Condition: The wood has shrinkage and cracks from age. The right ear and fingers of the left hand are missing...

Description: A lovely Jun tea bowl was molded in an elm bowl’s shape. With a slightly inverted rim, the bowl stands by its small circular foot ring which was unglazed. In an attractive purple splash at the cavetto, the bowl was applied on the surface with the blue sky glaze. Cracks and minute bubbles were spread under the glaze. Some deposits were left at the center of the foot ring. Date: Jin Dynasty(11th-12th Century), Width: 9.8cm.

Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Burnished Black Pottery Meiping

We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.

An extremely rare blue & white bowl, decorated outside and inside with cabbages design. Late Ming Jiajing period and seal mark on the base. Condition is perfect except tiny chip to the inner foot rim and a bit firing flaw or kiln adhesive adhere inside the center. Diameter: 14.5 cm.

Chinese Southern Song Dynasty Moulded Qingbai Porcelain Vase

This attractive pear-shaped vase was made during the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127 - 1279), most likely at one of the kilns in Fujian province. Interestingly it is made in several sections that have been luted together. The mid section is decorated with a scrolling lotus blossom pattern, below which is a repeating lotus leaf pattern. It is coated in a finely-crackled greenish-blue qingbai glaze that stops short of its foot...

A Yuan dynasty Shufu luanbai white glaze, rounded side with lobbed rim and unglazed base, bowl decorated with two dragon motif chasing flaming pearl on interior, covered with Shufu luanbai white glaze.
Bowl is in good condition with a small chip and three hairline on the rim, no restoration.
