All the precious stones are represented in this elegant 14Kt yellow gold openwork flower ring. The 3 flowers are set with emeralds, sapphires and rubies. Each flower is centered by a full-cut diamond. The openwork design is bordered on either side by pave set diamonds. The approximate weight of all diamonds is 0.20Ct, while the sapphires, rubies and emeralds in each flower weigh approximately 0.35Ct. The size 7 ring that can be sized is 13mm wide on top and tapers down to 4mm.

Chinese Yuan Dynasty Jun Bowl
This stoneware junyao bowl was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). It is heavily-potted and coated in a thick jun glaze. The colour of the glaze varies from a pale mauve to a yellowish-grey. The glaze falls short of the foot that remains unglazed and has fired to a pale yellowish-brown. Within the recessed base is a Chinese character in fired-on black pigment.

This fine pottery head was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It has been "cold painted" in a base coat of white pigment on top of which have been painted pink, red and black pigments to pick out the facial details.

A small house shaped incense burner by Mashimizu Zoroku enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Kuzuya Koro. Inside the roof is visible cloth patterns where it was formed over wet sack-cloth. The outside has been scraped with a comb to resemble thatch. Inside a window a scholar gazes out, perhaps expecting a guest, or just contemplating the seasonal changes from the warmth of his abode. One of the most beautiful early 20th c. Chinese bracelets of this kind that I have seen, this piece is studded with perfectly cut tiger's eye cabochons. The vivid blue, purple and green enamels reflect brightly off the vermeil finish while the extra security of the safety chain is a welcome plus.
