Quite impressive with its big, variegated agate cabochon - I believe this is actually moss agate - and extremely rare this is a Mexican ring with strong presence by Enrique Ledesma, one of Taxco's foremost modernist silversmiths. Massive and fabulous vintage modernist cocktail ring by the Finnish designer Erik Granit. In sterling silver with a huge cut faceted rock crystal stone in a very dimensional setting with applied silver beads and an open frame. Dated 1970. Marked E GRANIT & CO, DESIGN JEWELLERY, 925H STERLING FINLAND, R7, which is the date code for 1970, and with Finnish silver town mark and maker's mark.

Frank Patania Sr.(1899-1964) designed this sterling silver necklace c. 1940-50's for his Thunderbird shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The central crescent features 23 beautifully matched, oval cut, turquoise stones on a textured background. The crescent measures 4 3/4" across. Total length of the two sterling chains is 16". The necklace weighs 76 grams. All elements are in beautiful condition with an excellent natural patina that only comes with age...

A very charming sterling necklace by Margot De Taxco which is highly ornamented with a leaf and berry motif and a bow on each side. It is a collar necklace that opens in the front and is hinged in the back. It will fit up to a 14"neck which is about average. It is 1" wide in the front and tapers to 3/8" in the back. It is in fine original condition and weighs 94 grams. Signed and numbered for Margot as shown. A very elegant piece.

Vintage Antonio Pineda 970 silver and aventurine bracelet. Sculptural geometric shaped links alternate facing up and down, each having an aventurine ball shaped stone suspended from the center. I believe his talent and workmanship to have been of the same caliber as that of his more famous contemporaries and I am always on the look out for his jewelry. Based on his work, I believe that he must have worked for at least the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco and his prowess in the art of repoussage supports the hypothesis...

Marbled and painted , this very old brooch was originally aqua in color as is evident on its back. It measures 2 1/4" long, 2" wide approximately. It is worn arrows facing down.

This is a smashing sterling and wire wrapped glass ball pendant and chain by Modernist Paul Lobel. It is three dimensional and interesting from every angle. A great size, measuring 2 1/2" including the bail, it is on its' original chain 18" also made by Paul Lobel. It is in fine original condition and both the pendant and the chain clasp are signed LOBEL STERLING. One of the nicest Lobel pieces I have seen.

A vintage 9k yellow gold charm or pendant in the shape of a three leaf shamrock. This pendant has a full set of (very tiny) English hallmarks and the date could be either 1950 or 1976. It measures 5/8 x 3/4", it weighs 1.2 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

A fabulous vintage handmade studio modernist bib necklace with black and white glass beads strung on brass wire, and engraved brass leaf or feather form drops at the end of each beaded wire. The overall effect is of a feathered collar. 1970s. Bold and unique and with outstanding impact. Photos do not do justice to this piece. It drapes very nicely and is very easy to wear.

Wearable length is 16 inches. The drops are 3 3/4 inches long. Excellent condition. Photos enlarged to show detail.

A platinum and diamond size 7 1/2 eternity band from the 1920’s is channel set with 33 (French cut) square cut diamonds. The setting is beautifully engraved on both sides with a garland like pattern, but on one side the makers left three areas blank for engraving. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 1.30 Ct.
