A gorgeous example of my favorite Ledesma work this is a pair of earrings that illustrates in the best possible way the maestro's magic touch in the seamless combination of silver and stone. Resembling highly stylized calla lilies, the earrings curve and curl to reach their pointy height. The color of the malachite is saturated and its polished surface just perfect. Each earrings is just shy of 1 1/4" tall by 3/4" wide (at its widest) and the set's weight registers at 11.8 grams...

This 14Ky yellow gold amethyst and diamond estate earrings are centered by 5 X 7 millimeter marquise shaped faceted amethysts. Each earring is further enhanced by 3 brilliant cut diamonds. The approximate weight of the two amethysts is 1.0Ct, while the six diamonds weigh approximately 0.12Ct.

Spectacular, unusual sterling and onyx earrings by Antonio Pineda. A great layered, modernist design with spikey pieces of onyx at the top of the earring. These are screwbacks and measure 1 1/4" long and 3/4" wide. Fine original condition and signed as shown. Terrific!!!

Beautiful carved obsidian faces signed by Fred Davis. We have a 16in. wearable and almost an inch tall. The silver is soft and silky with no damage to stones or silver The picture seems blurred sometimes but that is the sheen of the obsidian. Perfect for collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

A 14k Denmark citrine ring from the 1950s. This size 5-1/2 or 5.5 Scandinavian ring is stamped 585 DENMARK with an Ib.&W. mark for Ibsen & Weeke of Copenhagen (1952-79). The stone tests as a genuine citrine and it is set on curved longer claws. This ring measures 1/2" across the width of the setting. It weighs 2.9 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Wonderful old Mexican silver bracelet in bold design with large oval green stones, stamped "Silver Made In Mexico", the bottom part of Mexico not visible. It measures 7" long and 1 3/8" wide. Very substantial, the silver is heavy and the stones are large and raised high above the bezels. The clasp is a simple folding snap clasp that holds firmly. The design is very similar to the early works of both Spratling and Aguilar, and could have been crated by them or by a worker in their studios...

Margot Van Voorhies Carr designed and hallmarked this Mexican Silver Renaissance necklace. The stones are more jelly colored and are better than normally seen in Mexican silver. It is without damage and does have a wearable length of 15in. naturally to 16.5in. with an included heavy extension. The weight is 95 grams and the link is 1in. tall. I am listing on my site the matching bracelelet as shown in the last picture. A definite example for collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Huge by any standard these Vrba clip earrings are a show stopper! The center light green stone is dome shaped and is surrounded by tiny clear rhinestones. The dangle sways upon movement as do the pearls that hang from it. Nameplates say Lawrence Vrba and made in USA. Total length 4". Dangle, including pearls, is 2" by 2 3/4".

Fantastic! This brooch is in the style of Miriam Haskell, though unsigned. Various sizes and shapes of prong-set clear rhinestones along with faceted crystals of varying shapes and sizes. Double layer filigree backing typical of old Haskell. Great worn at the waist or to accent a plunging neckline. Over all length 4 3/4", width 2 1/4", depth 1". Very chunky and very well made.

LAYAWAY AVAILABLE This stone is a Mexican boulder opal which is scattered with the naturally occurring quartz. The opal appears to open up whole worlds within it's fiery windows. Marked 14kt and being 1 3/8th inches tall this ring is heavy and huge. The width is just a tad over one inch. The mounting resembles sponge coral with the 6 pearls seated within the coral. The pearls are natural grays, black and mauve. The weight is 20 grams and the size is a 8.25...

Contemporary American designer Patrice uses vintage European glass from the 1930-40's, brass and gold plated mesh to create this masterwork. It is adorned with scroll work and two brass frogs to keep the dragonfly company. Heavy and dramatic and the finest obtainable in materials, design and detail. Certainly an heirloom. 1 1/2" wide, 6 1/8" inner circumference with a 1 1/8" opening on underside.The following two items presented can be mixed and matched with this bracelet.

Good early Mexican Deco silver repousse jewelry is becoming harder to find - I don't know if it's because there weren't that many to begin with (quite often repoussage from that period seems a little clumsy, the technique needing additional experimenting with) or that at some point their popularity grew so much that they were "scooped up" from the market. Whatever the case, I am thrilled to be presenting this fantastic cuff bracelet with two saturated purple amethyst cabs here...

Vintage sterling silver and leather bolo tie designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Antonio Pineda. Original braided black leather tie measures 41" long. Sterling silver carved arrow head slide is 2" X 1 1/2". Hunting figure is carved out in the center adding visual dimension. Silver arrow heads finish the piece at the braid tips. Vintage Deco Chinese silver filigree bracelet having a vermeil finish and adorned with what seems to have been a late 19th c. carved jade button showing the figure of a bat or butterfly (?). Floral and foliate enamel decoration in cobalt and sea blue as well as green and red along with stylized "shu" characters in silver overlay complete the piece. Measuring 7 1/8" long (wearable) the bracelet has a width that varies between 1" at the center front and 7/17" at its narrowest...

Vintage handmade sterling silver and amethyst screw back earrings designed and signed (c.1940's) by Taxco, Mexico artist Hubert Harmon. Each earring measures 1 1/8" L X 1" H. 11g. Hollow and backed repousse' each is set with a bezel set cab amethyst eye. Silver and stones are in beautiful vintage condition with no chips, or dents. Great patina. Contemporary French designer Pavone has created this charming piece to make you smile. He is made of galalith (an early plastic first used around the beginning of the last century. It is a protein derived from skim milk.) and presents a very contemporary design. The yellow "flowers" are small spheres. 3 1/2" high, 2" at widest, 1/4" thick. Signed Pavone on the back. White highlights do not exist on the piece, they are reflections the light used to take his picture.
