A Maestro from the Spratling era but with a Mexico City designation and with a conjoined HT hallmark built this necklace of thick silver weighing approximately 77 grams. The silver pearls are without dents and may show reflections. The length is 15in. and height is one inch tall. It lays smooth against the skin and for a shorter necklace that is worn higher up it feels barely there. Striking presence, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Another Margot van Voorhies Carr masterpiece properly hallmarked Margot de Taxco and without eagle sixteen as her very earliest work had no eagle and sometimes eagle 1. This is a very early design #5161. This example is one of the finest I have found. It is extra large weighing 90 grams heavy and is taller than most at 1.5in. tall. No damage or flaws just some flecks of patina which is warm and fabulous. Collector and museum quality.

Another one of my Taller Taxco treasures, this necklace, obviously based on Salvador Teran's design, came to me with a matching bracelet (by yet a different maker) which I will be presenting in the next few days. The amethyst comma necklace is one of the most recognizable of Antonio Pineda's works of art. The silver is 970 and silky to the hand. There are no cracks or chips to the stones and no damage or flaws to the silver. The most important thing to look for is how the silver comes up and forms a wall on each link at edges. Most are uneven and without a sharp edge. The length is 16in. long,.75in. tall and it weighs in at 102.5 grams heavy. There is a gorgeous patina to the swirls but if you like this ...
