This vintage hand-forged tie bar & belt buckle were designed by Hector Aguilar c. 1940-50's. The buckle measures 1 3/4" X 1 1/2". The money clip/tie bar is 1 3/4" long. We are offering design 263 which is one of the early Los Castillo pre-Columbian swirls. Enrique Ledesma was a Taxco Maestro who was known for putting stone next to silver. He created today's offering of silver bars with malachite in the centers. A superb necklace by Carmen Beckmann. Rare to find, it has 6 oval bezel set unfaceted amethysts as the focus of each of the six panels.
