Blue and white porcelain dish or plate, Canton ware, measures 10 1/2" in diameter. Dating to mid 19th century, these wares were made primarily between 1820 and 1880, with many shipped to European countries and the US. On each side are notches, one of which is open and contains the place where hot water was poured, and the liquid inside kept the food in the plate warm. A fine and decorative late Victorian arrow shaped bar pin with a natural amethyst stone. This 1-1/2" long brooch has a claw-set 3/4 x 3/8" faceted amethyst, and the pin has the original c-clasp and an attached safety pin on chain. It is marked 585 (for 14K), it weighs 6.0 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Victorian cobalt glass oil lamp with etched chimney and enamel from the 1890s. This tall table lamp has a 10-1/2" deep cobalt blue base with an open cut pontil, an original Plume & Atwood Mfg. Co. 2-3/4" brass burner and collar and an etched glass 9-1/4" large glass chimney. The burner has a second 1897 renewed patent date and the burner and flat wick show no signs of use at all (no wick char or burner darkening) and there is no smell of lamp oil or kerosene...

A German Art Deco bathing beauty on shell pin dish. This well-made vintage Art Deco porcelain figural pin dish is in the form of a bathing beauty reclining on an oyster shell. This 3-1/2 x 2-3/8" vanity item stands 1-7/8" high, it is fully hand painted, and the shell has an irridescent mother-of-pearl lustre glaze. It is stamped GERMANY 4027. on the bottom, and this decorative item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

Japanese TAISHO Period carved wooden RANMA of dragon. The dragon is beautifully carved in high relief and with great detail. The back of the RANMA is also carved and has a rectangular placard with the inscription: TOKYO SHINTOMI-CHO, CHOUKOKU NIN, TAISHO SAN NEN NI GATSU, GOTO SUKEYOSHI, which translated means, Shintomi Town of Tokyo, presently the Ginza area of Tokyo, February of the 3rd year of Taisho (1915), carved by Goto, Sukeyoshi. The RANMA measures about 79" long, 12" tall and 6" thick.
