Chinese Qing dynasty wucai porcelain scalloped edge ritual bell with double-dragon form handle decorated with eight polychrome mythical beasts set against underglaze blue crashing waves on a white ground. Two narrow bands are at the top. The interior is a pale aqua color. The scalloped edge is unglazed. 6 3/4” high. 19th century. Fine quality restorations have been executed to an old hairline in the interior of the bell and to a small area of damage at the scalloped edge...

Description:
A black-glazed Cizhou tea bowl was uniquely decorated on the surface with vertical creamy-white ribs.
By a striking image, the tea bowl was mold in a flatten shape which was elegant and was full of the mood of Zen spirits.

The typical dark-brownish almost black glaze and the light gray-tinted body clay at the base are typical of this type of ware. Stardust-like incursions are evident throughout the glaze...

This is a Chinese blue and white stem cup, Yongzheng mark, decorated with borders of animals and foliage; mint condition; 4" diam.

Group of Four Chinese Three Kingdoms Glazed Pottery Entertainers with Oxford TL Test

This very rare group of glazed pottery entertainers was made during the Three Kingdoms period (AD 220 - 265) or possibly the earlier Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 25 - 220). The group comprises two female figures and two male figures. They are made from a reddish-brown pottery and coated in an amber coloured glaze that is slightly crackled...

Sample of Yue ewer with good form of body, spouted, lopps and handles. Covered with brown green glazed to the foot, galze base. Height=14 cm, Width=15 cm. Condition : spout, handle and part of mouth rim are miss and restored. Other in good condition.

A burl wood peach tassel with a glass beaded ornament. The peach is a tremendous Chinese symbol for longevity as well as other auspicious attributes. Size: Peach. L.2.6cm. W. 2.5cm. Glass. L. 5cm.

 

Description:

A bamboo brush pot was carved in uniquely curved form.
Decorated on one side with craved motifs of peony flowers and poems on the other side, the brush pot was preserved with Zu-huang(bamboo's inner skin) on the smaller sides.
It was in perfect condition when darken patina was earned.

Date: Late Qing periods, late 19th century.

Height: 11.9cm.

This pouring vessel is in the form of an amber glazed rooster. It dates from the Ming period. Measure : H=16 cm, W = 9 cm, L= 20 cm. It is in excellent condition with the exception of a little crack on the tail of rooster and glaze degradation on some area.

A Persian torch stand made of bronze or brass with chased and engraved sheath showing floral decoration and arabesques. Condition: traces of usage. Dimension: c. 25.8 cm high, diameter foot: 15.6 cm.

A pair of Kinsai Tokkuri on red ground by Eiraku Zengoro from his Kutani kiln dating from the late 19th or early 20th centuries enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Complete with lids, they are 5 inches (13 cm) tall each and in excellent condition.

Description:
A fine and nice tripod censer was applied on the surface with black glaze.
It was in decent look by well proportioned body with three supporting feet.
The feet was shaped with well-executed skill by apparently a bamboo cutter or some hard tools.
'Cause obvious scraping scars were left at the feet trunks.
The scars were also approved by a documented piece.(See last picture.)

Fine Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Horse & Rider (206 BC - AD 8)

This fine and attractive pottery horse and rider was made over 2,000 years ago during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a dark grey pottery, quite "heavily-potted", that has been "cold painted" in a base coat of creamy-white pigment with the details mostly picked out in red and black pigments although there are also traces of pink and green pigments in places...

A refined pottery Cheng-Ni inkstone was preserved in very good condition.
By elegant round shape and arched moon-shaped inkpool, the inksone was thick and was hefty in weight.
Old frets and scars were observed and also proved its old age.

A headdress with a rounded crown and a wide flat brim, the interior made of woven bamboo, covered with yellow silk damask showing roundels with five-clawed dragons. The top ending in a red silk knot above ruyi border. The underside of the brim covered with red silk, the sweatband made of leather. Edged with key fret brocade...

Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Dish - Phoenix

This blue & white "Swatow" (or "Zhangzhou") porcelain dish was made during the Wanli Reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. It is coated in a thick glaze and decorated in underglaze blue. The pattern features a standing phoenix surrounded by foliage and blossoms which include the peony and bamboo, the phoenix symbolising peace and prosperity, the peony riches, love, affection and beauty and the bamboo longevity...

A fine Qing Dynasty, Tongzhi period (1861-1875) bowl with a unique shape and vivid colors inside and out. Artistic and finely distinct embossed painted design on the exterior of the bowl.
